HI guys...just checked right now my fiance's name is wrong on the annotation part of my visa... it's missing 1 letter...what should I do? any same experience? Should I go back to the embassy to have it chnaged or it should be fine? hope someone can help...thanks

hi!i would go back to the embassy and get it corrected.coz we had the same problem,..coz u cant leave in the airport if not corrected..cos we been in embassy to get corrected before for my son,and they tell me we cannot leave if it is not corrected even 1 letter,.........godbless,,goodluck!!!!!!!!!!

ok friend told me that her niece was denied to fly out of manila to japan on continental flight because she was k-1.

her flight plan was manila to japan to guam to dallas then to florida. but was denied to board but i was told she was first time immigrant and couldnt stop over in japan due to this

My wife and her son flew from manila to japan then to minneapolis on k-1 and k-2 visa. No problems for that!!! Only problem we had was to wait and rebook flight after noticed her son was listed as female on his visa. 1 day layover in manila whilst they fixed da visa GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! LOL

My fiance's k-1 and k-2 were issued and received. There is an error on the k-2. The gender is actually male and the passport says male. They printed female on the visa! My flights are already booked for Sat. Dec.13. The USEM says the new k-2 will not be reprinted for 24 hours. Can she still leave the Philippines and enter USA with the gender error. I was told by US airport authority as long as she has his birth certificate there would be no problem. Any help please???

The cheapest and best flight i have found on my trips to the philippines is with american airlines. We use cebu pacific from davao to manila then japan airlines to tokyo then american airlines to usa. You can book flight all the way from manila to USA thru american airlines japan website. It will include cost for japan airlines flight. PAL is the most expensive I used that the first time i fly to Phils. American Airlines the only way to fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see you flying NWA. Incase you haven't bought your flight yet. I started using American Airlines Via Tokyo & Japan Airlines from Manila to Tokyo and you can book all flights thru American Airlines Japan. Save me about $600 on ticket last time i fly to Manila. NWA is one of the most expensive to fly then next is PAL. I wanted to ask you about your k-2 visa was it not issued the same time as your k-1. Does your child get to fly with you??? Just wondering if you recieve the same time both visas. Hope you have safe flight!

I would not assume your visa be in your hand in next 1 - 3 weeks. My fiancee had her interview Sept 24 and approved pending DV. The DV was back at USEM Oct.12 2008. I call USEM Nov. 12 and Nov.14. First time I call they tell me all complete. 2nd time i call they say not complete. Going on 8 weeks since interview now. Still waiting

Why would you want to be illegal?

Don't think anyone would want to be illegal. But honestly like everyone tell me before I do this all legal. The illegals get here faster and have more rights than the ones who do it legally and also they don't have to pay any income tax so go figure. The system is only setup to protect the illegals and persecute the ones that do it legal.

I had called USEM on Nov. 12 talked to Grace. She confirmed what NSO had told me that my DV were delivered to USEM on Oct 12. Then she tell me she check the status and she said she checking two different places. She told me the CO was done reviewing the case and all was complete. Then she said wait and let me check the AR. Then she only tell me to call back Monday Nov 18. My fiancee wanted me to call Friday Nov.14. I called and talked to Lorraine. Asked her to check the status of our case. She tell me the CO has not completed the case????????????? How can that be when Nov.12 it was already complete. I told her i called Nov.12 and was told it was complete she basically only told me i was lying and that no way was i told it was complete. I was specifically told the CO was done with reviewing the case and that all was complete on Nov.12. I guess there is no way to tell if it is complete or if visa is issued. Because all they tell are lies. Would be so much easier if they would just be honest with people. Only thing to do is wait until visa arrives then and only then will you be sure it is complete. Don't think customer service would fly like that in the USA!!!!!!!!!

I called Grace on Sept 12. Not Sept 18 had wrong week. LOL

How did you find out when the visa was issued? I figured out how to find out about DV that was at USEM Oct.12. Then I called Grace Sept 18. She tell me that the consular officer has completed reviewing the case. That is all she would tell me. She tell me to call back on Sept. 17. How long after the consular is done reviewing the case before you know if visa is approved and when it will be issued???? Thanks for any info.
