  1. I print screened the skype chats and call history as well as yahoo. I did it back to back to save paper as well as to lessen the weight. The prescreener and CO didn't look at the e-mails and just asked for photos and greeting cards. For the photos, i just put them in a clear folder, something that bends easily coz if u will put them in an album i don't think it will fit once the pre-screener or the CO asked it from you. You might need to bring a hand towel or hankies for the sweaty palms...had the same problem coz i was so nervous and had a bit of problem when i did the fingerprint. I can understand how u feel. Just make sure u have all the documents. Good luck in ur interview!!! :)

Good Luck on your upcoming interview.....sure you will get the pink slip....gonna be easy like in the ballpark..... ;):)

    Hello there!

I have a friend who had same case similar to yours....she had her interview Dec15 and was asked for AKA with her NBI. She already submitted the additional documents the next day until now she had not received the visa so I advise her to call USEM 02-3012000 press 7 then dial 5184# or 5185#. They told her that her case were reviewed Jan04-2010 and visa is ready for printing and it will take 7-10days to be delivered. At least you will have a clue if you will try to check with them. You can also track your visa at www.air21.com.ph website.

    God Bless!!! :)

    -uan

    Hi uan!

It was fun to organize the documents before the day of your interview. It will help you feel more at ease and confident during the interview. I believe as long as you have all the necessary documents needed, you will be fine....it doesn't matter as to how many pages of emails or chatlogs as long as you have proofs of genuine engagement or relationship. Yes, I did screen shots of our video chat, emails from every year one on each month....I also had screenshots showing his emails on my inbox... ;) hope this helps...and you can ask me for any info....

Wish you luck!!!!you can do it...

  7. Hi Congratulation.. wow its a long journey like mine, we been fighting for this case for 2 years also , and hopefuly this week I will receive my visa, Ask ko lang how did you track your case, kami kasi we need additional documents and then nung napasa ko sya last dec. 28, 2009. d ako nag bayad sa air21, then my fiance called the NVC to check our case, and NVC said that the embassy mail me and they guess it was my VIsa, because they cant see on the system what is the embassy mail about, and then I called Air21 this morning and advice me to filled out dowload form shipping Information and drop it to the nearest branch where I located. Air21 said that there is no way that they can send my packet, if I dont have that shipping Information, Did you know how long before they receive my shipping information, I reside here in Pasay 20 minutes from the embassy.. How can you track your case.. please need reply..and how much the visa fee.. again congratz and have a blessed day

    Hi there!

You can go to www.air21.com.ph website to track your visa....click on the US embassy logo....once you click on it another box will show wherein you can enter your case number or passport number....usually it will take the visa 7-10 days after they have reviewed the additional documents that we have submitted. I dropped them my pc Dec23 and got the visa Jan05 considering that there was holidays interval which is Christmas and New Year....noticed in my passport that the visa was issued Dec29.....

  8. Hello Everyone!

I just wanna share the good news....This morning I checked with air21 website to track my visa and it says shipment already left cargohaus and after 2hours I finally got it.....:dance::dance: It was a good timing too because my fiance and I were chatting at that time it arrived. We were so happy that after almost 2years of the visa journey it was all worth it.....A new journey of life together begins.....A good new year to start with....

Thanks to my VJ family for all your support and guidance!!!!

  9. Hello guys,

I hope you can help me with my concerns....

I am married to a US citizen and we are currently processing our papers. He has filed for an I-130 already, have received NOA1 and waiting for our approval from USCIS.

My husband wants to petition my 7mo. old daughter as well (not his biological daughter, we'll bring her a few years from now) and thought that he had included her in the petition.

    Here are my questions:

    1. Should my husband file a separate I-130 form for my daughter?

    2. What are the requirements?

    3. One of the VJ members answered my other post (in a diff section of this forum), that "You have a potentially big problem. You cannot get a visa for your daughter unless you get her biological father's notarized permission to let her immigrate to the US."---- Is this still needed considering my situation (story below)?!?

Here's a little background of my life before my hubby:

I was a single mom before and was never married with the man in my previous relationship but had a daughter with him. When my daughter was born, I did not acknowledge my daughter's biological father. He ABANDONED us prior my (our) daughter's birth, so I decided not to use his surname nor put his name in her birth certificate.

I have no problems answering questions about the biological father IF it's going to be asked in the interview. My concern is that, why do I need the biological father's consent if he did not care about us in the first place??!

    Please help me...Thanks in advance...

    Hi there!

Here's a link that would give you answers regarding child custody...in your case it is not that complicated because as you have stated she is not carrying father's name and not listed on her BC.

    Hope this helps.... :)

  10. THANKS CARLA. i AM NOW SPENDING MY WHOLE DAY CRYING HERE IN MY ROOM.. FRIENDS WERE TEXTING ME WHAT HAPPENED.. AND I DIDNT ANSWER ANY OF THOSE TEXTS OR CALLS COZ I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY.. EVERYBODY IS EXPECTING ME TO PASS THIS COZ THIS IS K1. THEY SAID MAJORITY PASS ON THIS. SELDOM ARE DENIED.

BUT ME.. I DONT KNOW... :crying::crying:

MY FIANCE SAID: THIS IS NOT THE END MOMMY. WE WILL FIGHT BACK IF WE NEED TO. BUT LET'S WAIT FIRST WHAT THEY'LL SEND YOU. BUT IN CASE THEY DENY YOU. I WILL GO HOME THERE IN FEB. AND WE WILL BOTH FACE THEM AND APPEAL. BUT FOR NOW, LET'S WAIT.

"well, my fellow vj peeps, I know i sound pathetic right now. But yes, I am losing hope already and want to give up." sorry for this negative feeling.. :crying:

I am so sorry to hear about the interview experience you had today.......I know it's really frustrating especially when answers are unknown...on the slip that they gave you is there any mark as to which is under review????.....

I had my interview today as well but got under AP/AR as expected because I still have a missing document which is my Japan police cert.....Our petition was denied with USCIS but we stood up and appealed...So hang in there....and the Lord will guide us.....

  11. My Fiancee went for her interview this morning but only saw the prescreener that said she needed an NBI Clearance with her AKA because she was once married. The letter said she would be contacted by the embassy telling her when to return. She said their were other people there with the same problem but they still gave them their interview but she didn't get one. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so, how long does it take to hear from the embassy and get your next interview? I didn't know if I could just call the embassy and reschedule or if I had to wait on them? She is really devistated but if anyone can give me any answers I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks, and God Bless you all!

That's the first time that I have heard of asking to come back for alias NBI clearance without the interview.

Others were given the interview and a white slip for administrative process and review because of the lacking document....Meanwhile I suggests you complete the said requirement from NBI clearance so that you will be ready when they contact you or may need to follow it up.

I was once married and got my NBI clearance both maiden name and married name...Hope she will have her turn soon...Besides it's better that she have another schedule for interview and once she has all the necessary requirements PINK SLIP will reign!!!!!!!!

  12. My fiance is going through the medical process in a few hours. She's worried about it, but I told her not to worry. Funny, I'm worried about the interview and she tells me not to worry about it. I'm glad we're getting one step closer to her being here. Sucks having to delay it when our NOA2 arrived in October.

good luck to you both. no worried if she's in the pink of health.

She has a few issues, but nothing to be concerned about. She just over thinks it and gets worried.

She will be fine.... :) Good Luck!!!!

Yeah, I keep telling her that. Funny how we both worry about one part of the process and the other thinks the other will be fun.

    Good luck with your interview.

Thank you!Funny because I am worried too prior my medical date but the process just went smooth just need patience for waiting from one step to another.....

Now it's the interview......and thanks for wishing me luck.....God Bless us all!

  14. That's true you can go ahead and have advance medical. My fiance sent me a copy of NVC letter with Manila Case number and NOA2 or confirmation email if you have scheduled an appointment for interview .

I didn't personally receive the appointment letter from the embassy as well, my fiance did receive it after I was done with the medical. He just sent me a copy of NVC letter with Manila Case number and NOA2.
