Hey guys. I haven't heard anything from nvc either. I called and they said they haven't received anything with my case number, ill try again tonight

I got my noa2 email just now!!! On my i130 and 129f!! Just wanted to let you guys know! Im veryyy happppy! Hang inthere guys and stay on them for updates I sent a letter last week to vsc about my petition so maybe that had something to do with the approval!

So I called uscis in d.c. and they told me I had some weird code on my case so the lady told me she will call me back when she called she told me on 1/28 my case was assigned to an adjuticator! Im happy they didn't loose my papers lol and atleast its at someones desk!

Im praying for an approval this week too. But I doubt it because on friday I was advised that I wasn't assigned to an adjuticator yet

This is horrible, all the waiting for nothing

Ok so I called uscis even though I know its pointless and they said that they can't put in a service request because I am not in the processing time frame by 8 days!!!! I explained about november 30 it was 4.1.2008 date but it was like talking to a robot

I sent my congressman an email even though that has grown to be pointless... they neverrrrrr have been the nicest office

So I called uscis of course to waste my time .... they stated that they are processing 4.1.08 that they been processing that time since november 30 2008 and that they are still processing 4.1.08... they even called VSC also and they stated the same ahhhhh yes also that I have not been assigned to an adjuticator yet that my files are still on a shelf

They recuieved my i130 april 6 and noa2 date of april 14 omg im soooo upsetttt they couldn't just put 4/15/2008??!!

So I called NVC this morning, I figured Ill have better luck trying to see if nvc received my papers since sonia said her k3 was already their, rather than spendin 5 hours on the phone arguing with a uscis robot rep, and they told me they don't have any of my case numbers and that its not in their systems...

I was hoping but I guess nada... sonia said that her k3 was never with her i130 or something like that, maybe when she caled regarding that problem uscis decided to just approve it???

I dunno but I hope next week isn't sooooooo quiet with hardly any approvals

I wasn't approved at uscis yet, but I figured if I was my papers might be at nvc and I rather speak with nvc even though I figured they won't have anything than speaking and dealing with uscis,,,, still waiting for my noa2, barely keeping sane I been at this since 4/14/08

Congratz! Hopefully you get the hard copy soon. When I called uscis in washington regarding the processing imes they stated that there site had some kind of glitch and that they are working on it. So maybe they were right and that's why u didn't get an update??? I really don't know but just hoping that along with ur approval comes mine and many more....

Hey just wanted to ley u know that I have not gotten approved yet and I actually got touched the 2nd of oct..... I thought it was the 3rd but I was wrong... sorry for the confusion

Hi, as all you know i dont really post on here but i will tell you this. I have done this request and it took me NO WHERE!

I got 3 petitions that were filed after me and approved before me and sent it to my congressman and to USCIS in D.C. (after this information being requested to me from a so called "supervisor") and i got the same response twice...

we are currently processing 2/2 blah blah blah

Im just praying that the processing times change to mid april this month.... I doubt it VERY much though

Its going to be 9 months on wednesday since I received my noa1 ....

VSC pisses me off. Im tiredddddd of calling them everydayyy all dayyyy

I hve given up on that .... hopefully we all hear something soon...

I'm thinking that one of their employees that has all these delayed applications might be on vacation or some kind of sick leave and they have our application, mamalou's, monica's, birch's and a few others still waiting.

Ah well, I can't do anything about it, therefore I shall stop bit-ching for now and go shopping. I already had my chocolate, I am now moving on to shopping

I don't understand what im doing wrong.... I keep trying but it kept asking for my case number and when I did that and finished pressing the numbers suggested "to dial" and it won't get me anywhere... as soon as I call and the machine starts talking I start following the "dial" numbers suggested but nothing.... am I missing something?

When it asks for reciept number are you also punching the numbers for the EAC part? You have to punch those numbers in as well. Besides, they're closed now. Maybe that is why. You have to call before 5pm EST to get someone in Vermont.

Thanks for the breakdown... i actually did it before 5pm but this is how it went....

I called the number immediatly pressed 1 than it started talking and i pressed 2 than it asks for my case number so i punch it in ***********05 ok so after that it says your case was recieved on blah blah blah and than i hit 1, when i hit the one it says please hold while we transfer you to customer service and sent me to the not so helpfull customer service

Hello, my slowly dwindling, but still lovely, K-3 family

Apparently, no dabkah for me today LOOOL

I called the customer service center and spoke to an immigration officer (so they say) but she started reading me the February 26th line. I used the options that someone posted in another post on how to get a hold of someone, but it was not correct. I didn't get to enter my reciept number or anything. It took me to someone for application requests LOL. Then they transferred me to an officer.

When she started reading the "Your application was recieved April 23rd and is showing as pending. We are now processing Feb 26th..." I said:

"Maam, please, don't go any further. You're reading something to me that I can find on the internet myself, and that is posted information from September 2008. Now I know several people who have called VSC to check the status of their applications. They did not recieve the email updates for approval. However, once they spoke to someone in VSC their status showed as approved. They were told that the computer system was not yet updated to reflect those approvals. So I would like to speak to someone in VSC to see if that is also the case with my petition. Can I please speak to someone there?"

She said:

"I'm sorry maam, I don't have the ability to do that. To get someone at VSC on the phone? No, I don't have that ability."

So I thanked her and then hung up. I tried calling the DHS number. Keep getting the deputy's voicemail. I haven't left a message yet. I have a contact in DHS. I think I'm gonna have my mom call him and ask him to look at my stuff for me. I'm not too down about it yet. But if there is an approval on its way, I would like to know so I can start organizing all our papers and make my appointment in advance with the useless lawyers.

I tried this but after I hit the 1 2 and than 1 it says that to enter my eac number..... than it said there system is having difficulties ???

Ok...Here's my one observation for the day...Ppl filed in May/June and got touched in 9/27, 9/30 and 10/1 mostly got the approvals. The timeframe stand for them 6-7 months waiting...

I wonder if my hypothesis is correct then ppl of june got touched in first week of october will be getting approvals soon InshaAllahl.............

Well i recieved a touch on October 3 and sent out my I130 in early april but filedmy K3 very late so maybe they are going by the k3 date?

i dont know but as long as VSC keeps it up ill be happy!!

I personally have been waiting since april after harrassssssing uscis I made the mistake per there advice and filed for k3 in aug. I have no idea if me filing the k3 so late will delay my process more or if it won't really won't matter much.... any advice willbe great... thanks

What I mean by assigned to anyone is that iit has not been assigned to an adjustacator (not sure how its spelled)

And what I mean by reps is my senator and state representatives regarding my case

So I called uscis and talked to an officer and apparently my fist touch which was 10/2 was vsc assigning me an A number and that it has not been assigned to anyone yet.

So time to call my reps.
