O.k. here's the deal. My husband immigrated on a K-1 fiance visa in June 2005. We would now like to bring his 2 girls to the US to live with us. I have read about th I-130 and the I-824 (following to join). Does anyone know which of these two we need to fill out? He has been here over 2 years, we've been married over 2 years. His children were listed on the original petition, but they did not go the the interview with him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you someone can give me a sample timeline of about how long each process takes, that would be great also!
Thanks in advance for anyones help!!!

I am the U.S. citizen. Do I have to have my passport changed to my married name or can I use it as long as I have my marriage certificate with me?
Just curious! They're expensive!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!
Just a quick question, I couldn't seem to find the answer, or maybe I didn't look hard enough.
My husband has his 2 year green card, we are a year into it, so not a problem. We are getting ready to travel to England (his home) for a week or so and I am just wondering if he has to do anything special. Can we get him a US passport, I didn't think we could yet? Will he need to go through the British customs line and me through the US or can we both go through the US line, since he has a green card but a British passport?
Any info would be helpful!!!
Have New Year to All!!!!
Thanks,

So now that we have our 2 year GC, we wait for 2008 so that we can have the conditions lifted? We get a 10 year GC? When can he apply for citizenship?
Thanks!!!!

We just received our GC a couple of weeks ago with no interview. Shocker to me!!! Let them interview us!!! I'd like them to tell us we don't have sufficient enough evidence, seeing as how we have an 11 month old baby!!! I think the interview would be quiet interesting!!!

This is probably a no brainer, but I need to ask, just in case. Since he's already received his green card (which isn't green at all ) Do we need to send in a change of address when we move? I didn't figure we did since there is no pending paperwork hanging out there as of now?
Thanks,
Brooke

Yes we did get transferred to CSC. We got that orginally and now that I am thinking about it, we received an email from the USCIS back a couple of months ago that this case of being transferred to CSC, too. I thought that was odd but I guess it was a good thing.
Good Luck to all of you!!!!

So does this mean we can travel outside the states now?

Hey all,
I'm just a little confused. We have received several emails from the USCIS that his petition has been approved to register as a permanent resident. They say that they will send his card in the mail. I was under the impression that we had to interview for him to become a permanent residence. Can someone clarify this for me?
Thanks!!!!

Is this a long process? Do we have to wait like we did with the K-1 or does it move along alot quicker because he is already here?
