    K1 Visa APPROVED one year after filing

    Some of you know the struggled we have faced over the last year - waiting almost 10 months for NOA2, then not being told a decision at our interview and waiting in agony again...well, today my fiancé received his K1 visa by mail and we are both so happy that this part of our journey is finally over. Thanks to everyone here for their support and advice...don't know how we would have survived or gotten this far without it! :)

    I just checked the USCIS website that say's they ordered the production of my wife and son's 10 year green card as of yesterday 9/7/11. I don't have a firm letter or cards as of yet. However, I am fine with the confirmation from USCIS WOOOOOHOOOOW :dance::dance::dance::yes::yes:

    can someone please update my stat . Card send via usps 9/6 and welcome letter send 9/7.. Still haven't received either but got 2 text messages with those dates..

    Btw. Thanks you all for all the help and advice I got the past 3 years.. I will be back or should I say we all be back in FEB 2012 for citizenship.. GLTA

    On September 8, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. :))))

    Received my 10 yr green card today! Thought I'd share the good news with fellow VSCers.

    I don't know what my approval date is, don't know where to check that.

    Received the green card today, only 3 days after approval. That was fast!

    I'm out in California for work...and my husband just called and said the immigration letter came in - APPROVED! :dance:

    I don't know what the date information says, but are you guys writing the date you receive the letter, or the date the letter states? I will update my info as soon as I get home.

    Please update my timeline for my approval on Sept 10

    USCIS received and processed my app March 10

    6 months!!

    Hi guys, have been lurking in this forum since 2008:) just wanted to share and encourage others that r wating as well...i got the card production email today. my noa1 was on march18th, i was a day late (day91) and did not give them an explanation, must admit i have been sweating bullets coz of this hehehe and my fp was April 29th. thanks for the encouragement and we see u next year on the citizenship thread:)

    We got approved! Just got the letter in the mailbox today! It says that I should "receive a new Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551 (green card), within 60 days." They also put a really nice sticker with a new person's name/tittle over the signature section. Classy move! I guess they didn't want to waste paper??? But anyway...

    Yeay! The notices are coming guys! Keep an eye on your mail boxes! Finally VSC, finally!

    I guess i was not included in the list for VSC but yesterday i got an email saying my new card is on its way! Im also a end march filer and my finger prints were back beginning of april. So i guess a lot of people is getting it this month!

    Congrats to everybody! Im so happy!!!!

    What are the steps for asking citizenship? Im married for almost 4 years already.

    The greencard came in today's post via Priority Mail. What a relief! Good luck to all, your time is coming!!
