Our case was completed on 20th June and we havnt received an interview date yet!!! ....Anyone like us waiting for an interview date in Aug...or the lucky ones who've already received their interview dates for Aug??

Ann , actually your interview date must have assigned already. Did you talk to NVC operator ? If no, call them at right now or tomorrow morning at 7:30AM EST.

Hoping that it would be so so sooooo much loto....calling NVC in another 20mins...they would be too busy to call rite now...will let you know

Since your case is completed on June 20th, I believe your interview will be in the first or second week of August. Trust me!

The agent said they just scheduled it today (10th July US date)......i can now celebrate my bday (21st Aug) and my 1st anniversary (25th Aug) with my hubby!!!!!!! Thank u....a million...billion...zillion...loto and bani!!!

Have you tried calling NVC and asked them, why they haven't assigned the interveiw date for your case.. Which consulate the interivew is being scheduled at ? Try to speak to their supervisior.. Might help..

Just got off from NVC operator asking for the interview date if it has been assigned to our case yet.. The lady replied.. Yes it has.... I was like.. woow... which one. She said " August 27th, 2008 at 7:30am"

I am so much happy.. Called my husband and told him first.. He is also so much happy..

Hi everyone...had a question...i have no vaccination records of any kind even though i have been vaccinated for some when i was a kid..My interview will be scheduled at the Mumbai US consulate. I have checked their approved panel of physicians on their website and all of them are in Mumbai/Ahmedabad. I live in Pune and it wud take abt 4-5hrs to get to Mumbai especially these approved hospitals.,...so its quite a journey. I was wondering whether i could get the vaccinations here in Pune and then present the vaccination records to the panel of physicians in Mumbai - saving me quite a few trips to mumbai. Is that possible? Also let me know which vaccinations are required to be taken since you guys have already received your appt letters. Thanks in advance!

Anny, you can do it in Pune and get vaccination records from your family physician. All list of vaccinations are there in POST-NVC document.

However, consulate approved lab and physician's report is MANDATORY for all immigrant applicants. If you have pre-taken vaccinations, their job will be reduced and more money in your pocket

Normally, U.S consulate approved physician's are money hungry than your family physician

Hi everyone....this topic has really really been helpful and most of my questions have been answered...however i still have 1 question...i called the NVC today and the IVR said my case was completed on 20th June...i asked the NVC agent whether an interview date was assigned yet...she said it wasnt assigned yet and that the package will be mailed and i will get to know....i was wondering how and when can i find out abt my interview date before me (applicant) or my hubby (petitioner) received the interview letter? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
