I just want to share a bit about having to reschedule my oath ceremony. The original date was 06/20/12, but I couldn't make it since I was going on a business trip that week so when I received the letter, I made a copy of it for myself and wrote a letter explaining why I had to reschedule as well as have my supervisor write a letter explaining that I am required to be on this trip and send those letters with the original to my local office. I was very wary of having to reschedule because of all the threads that I found here and on other websites that it could significantly delay the process, but I received the new oath ceremony date two days after my original date so it was pretty easy.
Not to say that oath ceremonies should be rescheduled willy-nilly, but I think USCIS understands the significance of life happening during the naturalization process and does their best to accommodate that. At least they did in my case anyways.
Anyways, good luck to all with interviews coming up soon. Have a great Fourth of July!

Congrats to all that passed the interview, and good luck to those that are still waiting!
Just as I feared, I received the form N-445 yesterday and my oath ceremony is on June 20th, which I will not be able to make it. I'm sending back the notice along with my letter of explanation and a letter from my employer confirming that I really can't miss this work-related trip; therefore asking to be rescheduled, to my local office. Hopefully, I won't be placed too far back in line.

On May 29, 2012, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
The thing is, I checked the ceremony schedule on the Paramount Theater's website (that's where they do the ceremony for SF local office), and the dates available that are close are June 20th and July 11th. I will be on a business trip from June 17 - 24, so if it falls on June 20th, I will probably have to reschedule. Considering that it is already scheduled, I'm thinking it is very likely to be on June 20th. Oh well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though, until I receive the actual letter.

My interview was yesterday, and I passed! Yay!
Here's how it went in details. As you can see, my local office is San Francisco, and I would advise to be there about 15 minutes before your appointment because the building's security is serious. It took us about 10 - 15 minutes just to get through the door. My appointment was at 3.15PM and I was told that it is the last appointment of the day. We ended up waiting for about an hour, and they were closing the office down and stuff so it was getting scary since we were the only people there. I went into the interview around 4.15PM.
The interview itself took only 15 minutes. First the IO asked for my passports, green card and ID. Then he went through every line of the N400 application to verify that all information in it was correct. When he got to the part about my spouse, he started asking questions about what he does, how long he's been at his job, etc. Then he asked who else lives at our house, and I told him it was just us plus three rabbits. He seemed to get a kick out of my answer and loosened up a little bit, which was nice. He then asked to see the originals of my husband's birth certificate and our marriage license. He also took our copy of the 2011 tax return for the file since I've filed our taxes after submitting the application packet.
Then we went through the civics questions, which were:
How many years do we vote for US Representatives?
How many voting members are in the House of Representatives?
In what month is the Presidential election?
Who is the Chief Justice of the US?
Who is the Father of our country?
What wars did the US fought in the 1900s?
Then I had to read "When do we vote for the President?" and wrote, "We vote for the President in November."
Then he printed out the interview results paper and checked the "congratulations" box, and told me to expect the oath letter in 3-4 weeks. Then I asked him when generally to expect to attend the oath ceremony after the interview and he said around 6 weeks after the interview.
That's it, folks. I am so glad this all is coming to an end. Thank you all for going through this together. Good luck on your upcoming interviews. My husband and I will definitely celebrate after this is all over, we'll probably have a party or something. Anyways, have a great long weekend, everybody.

Today I call again (it's 2nd time), same the 1st time. He didn't saw about my info
but he gave me Ref no. and told me waiting for 30 days (start today). If I didn't get
the letter for bio, I can call back and told them Ref no.
Yup, I called them last Friday and that's exactly what happened. I'm trying not to think too much of it and hope that the bio letter will come within 30 days.

Same here, my NOA date was Nov 9th. Still no bio letter. I think I'm calling them tomorrow.
P.S. It sucks to see junk mail in the mail box, I know, and not what you were waiting for.

I haven't received my biometrics appointment letter either, and kept hoping it would show up. Thing is we'll be out of town from Dec. 17th and not be back till January. I'll call them tomorrow and see what I find out. Thanks for the info.

What I did was I divided the evidences into categories to make it easier for the USCIS officer handling my case. This is what I included in my cover letter:
• Joint residence evidence
- Copy of grant deed to our current home listing my husband and I as joint tenants
- Copy of first page of mortgage statements to our current home from Bank of America (June 2010, December 2010)
- Copy of Homeowners Policy Declarations from AAA
- Copy of first page of lease agreement for our residence from 04/01/2009 – 04/30/2010
- Copy of Security Deposit Itemization for our residence from 04/01/2009 – 04/30/2010
• Joint financial evidence
- Copy of joint bank account statements from Bank of America (May 2009, September 2009, December 2009, March 2010, June 2010, October 2010)
- Copy of combined tax statement for 2009 from Bank of America
- Copy of first page of joint tax return for 2008 & 2009
- Copy of both our credit cards indicating joint credit card accounts
- Copy of our voided check indicating both our names
• Other relationship evidence
- Copy of flight reservation for our vacation in December 2010
- Copy of plane ticket stubs for our flight to Bangkok, Thailand from 12/17/2009 – 01/01/2010
- Copy of plane ticket stubs for our flight to Krabi, Thailand from 12/24/2009 – 12/26/2009

From what I read on this forum, I believe it wouldn't be a problem if you file seperately, as long as you send in both and they show the same address for you and your spouse.

I had my oath ceremony on Wednesday. There were about 1,200 people who took the oath with me. It was a very moving experience. Now I'm just waiting for my passport to arrive.
I cannot believe I've been on this journey for over four years. VisaJourney has helped me a lot in getting through this, along with all the support of people who filed for the same processes during the same timeline. Thank you all for getting through this together. Have a great weekend!
