    ric-flair.jpg

Hey bro Dean, how ya doing dude?

The picture makes me look a tad younger that I am today.

    Thanks my friend. Take care.

  3. How are they going to challenge the citizenship of illegal immigrant children? Presumably the automatic citizenship is a Federal law...

Paul, have one on me...You are right by gawd...The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution needs to be changed

in order to revoke citizenship to anyone born in this country. I am not a lawyer. I was taught this in grade school..Such

capricious racist tone of Texas in even saying that in public...

For one second, think. Do you know what it take to amend the 14th Amendment, the most cherished of all our legal

    protections?

  4. I will not close this post without saying thanks to Mox. Even though I only glance at comments that appear to

me to be manure shots, I also thank you guys for reading my writings.

Sorry about my manure shots. I was out of jello shots and I was at a loss of what to do next.

Good Morning Alienlovechild...Like I said, it doesn`t offend me when I create a story that brings a horse manure storm.

For me, VisaJourney is my personal playground...Everything is fair game with me. Please continue reading my posts

and sooner or later, you will get to know what to do next.

A warning though: You just might discover a true friend here.

  5. Wow. Why so serious?

    Daaaaayyyaammmmnnnnned!!!!!

I just had to post this here.

    I just went and misspelled Magenta`s name......again!!!!Damnnnnnnnnn!

I just hope that she doesn`t show me that little smiley sticking out its tongue at me again, like she did once before

when I simply forgot her name some time back....

Magenta this will never happen again...Promise.

I went back to my first thread and checked, and sure enough, I did it again.

  6. This is a brief follow up on my earlier Herpes/Cold Sores bit. My creative cranky mind had been working for

several days to bring you a new creation. Some of you who do not know Nighthawk obviously took this story

seriously. For that I have brought my friend here to apologize for me. As you can see in his eyes, he is sorry

    as I am.

I come to VisaJourney to have fun with my friends. Those who remember my other stories "Deported to Mexico,

while U.S. citizen", "My Heart Attack" should have foreseen this coming. Here I had to invest a certain amount

of time to research the Cold Sores virus, and even gave you a link to make it more realistic.

I am not offended with what you say about my writings, or whether my acting sucks. I only know that I am

a better writer than you...if in fact you even write. That is what I do...I write.

I will not close this post without saying thanks to Mox. Even though I only glance at comments that appear to

me to be manure shots, I also thank you guys for reading my writings. I just want to have fun with you people.

I am freezing my butt here at this Tundra where I live, so I concentrate on issues that are controversial that

    will keep me awake.

Mox, thank you again for your gentleman`s mentality in commenting to my thread. I also want to thank a very

nice person who PM`ed me eariler with a scientifically proven comment with respect to the Herpes virus. There is

nothing wrong with anyone who comes down with this infection, children are the most prone for this virus. It generally

goes away by itself providing one treats it accordingly.

In closing this thread, I want to say Stupid is, stupid does, again to my good friend Nagi..I hope you enjoyed my

post...If not, well I thank you anyway...

And Magnata(I hope I spelled your name correctly) don`t make me go back and look for your name on my previous

thread, please.....Have a wonderful week, wherever you are.

    Robert

  7. Wooooooooooooooooo!

    I *puffy heart* Mox too!

LOL! Dangit Mags, you're making me regret all those terrible things I've been writing about you on bathroom stalls! :P

I posted a picture of my husband on Facebook at aged 17. Nothing you can write on a bathroom stall can hurt me!

I expect to be buried under the patio [again] within the hour!

Wooooo, I like your response Magenta. Magenta, I like that name, a lot. Thanks for being such a lovely sport and

interact with me once in a while...I really appreciate that...It is so cold here in Milwaukee right now and you bring

warmth to my heart. Magenta, thanks. Oh, I would not beat anyone Magenta.

    You're welcome!

Yep, you`ve got a way of yanking a heart out of someone`s chest. I could just continue to write these silly one liners

to you til Spring time comes around. I know you are married Magenta, even though you directed your remark at Mox

due to the bathroom stall thing...I too am married and very happily so...But I party hard. How about you, you sound

    so nice a person.

  8. You're not talking to Mox.

Remember - to be the man, you've gotta beat the man!

Ummm, I don`t get it Magenta, care to elaborate?

    ;)

  9. To paraphrase my advice in another thread: your friend needs to go see a Doctor. You are not a Doctor, and it's ridiculous for them to try to make this diagnosis on their own. The longer your friend waits, the worse it will be. Do your friend a huge favor and urge her to see a doctor ASAP.

Mox, you are one of the reasons I continue to come back to V/J...No matter how stupid and inconsiderate some here

may be, at times, people like you make VisaJourney a place I want to respect.

I respect you Mox...Thanks for you advise...I told my friend that I was not a doctor, and that she should see one

    immediately.

    Wooooooooooooooooo!

    I *puffy heart* Mox too!

Magenta hi. I miss you too, a lot Wooooooooo.

Thanks for peeking in to see me today.

You can`t say I am not trying.

I don't mean to be rude, but... if you knew you should consult a physician beforehand, why did you come here looking for information and advice?

Mox, you are not being rude. I think that at the end of my post I wrote the same question you ask me. However I wrote

that I needed any additional info you could provide. Sorry if I misunderstood (or did I?) "if you knew you shoud consult

a physician beforehand, why did you come here looking for information and advice?" Ummmm, its not me Mox, I swear! I hope that you don`t interpret that to mean that it is me with the virus. Mox, I am so old that this thing will

not affect me anymore, believe me. My immune system has been good to me Mox.

  12. Ummm the same virus is involved... but you won't get herpes from cold sores...

Paul Daniels, you and sugar M&M`s are just the type to answer a simple question...Click on the link that

says Cold Sores to the left of the page and then make the same remark...Stop drinking that whiskey Paul

    and pay attention.

  13. This past weekend I recieved an E-mail from a lady friend that I had not interacted with for some time. We had

developed a friendship and I undertook a parental mentor outlook towards her. As you may expect, I guard our

correspondence with great zeal and secrecy, for I am not about to reveal who this friend is, or where she is now

located. Her privacy is of great priority from me. You may rest assured, that this E-mail sender is not connected

to VisaJourney.com in any form or manner.

    shutterstock_3042583.png

However, I am not familiar with the any answers that I can give to her question. I come to my friends here at

VisaJourney so that I may obtain additional information. I am copying and pasting her question as she put it to

me in her E-mail. Here it is:

" i was wondering if you know what the difference between cold sores and herpes

are. i just cant figure out what i have. i was wondering if you cant give me some

    advice. "

I have responded to my lady friend`s question with the following link:

    http://www.herpes-coldsores.com/cold..._really_Herpes

If you wonder why I am asking for your additional advise, my response is this:

I believe that we all are prone to this virus at one time or another. I hope that you take the time to read this

linked information for you own protection and knowledge of what this virus is all about.

I am still asking each and everyone of you to advise me on any further information you may add.

    Robert

I needed to edit this post when I clicked on the link, you will see the message. However, there is a lot of info

out there on this...I will appreciate your advise. Try the link though.

  14. Whether this crime was committed by illegals or not, the fact remains it happened. As much as I am fiercely against illegal immigration, I fail to see how this incident is any worse than the crimes perpetrated by American citizens. We've had quite a few criminal acts involving teenagers in the past few years that had nothing to do with illegals.

You too are correct Mr. DeadPoolX. There are countless crimes perpetrated by American citizens and where is the

rage???Those who insist it is all about illegals in this country are those who`s racists Maduzza`s snakes heads

    capriciously continue to hissssssssss.

  15. We can only hope and pray this recession gets worse so that there is no work left for all these illegals to do and they are forced to get out of the USA and go home. Cause it is taking jobs away from legal residents here now in the USA.

    LOL!!

Yes, let's "hope and pray" that more people lose their homes and jobs and savings. Let's "hope and pray" more families are devastated by poverty and start having to wonder if they'll have a roof over their head next month. Let's "hope and pray" an entire generation of men and women who would have otherwise gone to college and been productive members of society instead have to compete for low-wage burger-flipping jobs.

Please, focus all of your energy into "hoping and praying" for silliness like this, because I hate to think of what you'd do if you weren't on your hands and knees praying to an invisible man.

Bravo Mox. I couldn`t have said it better. "hope and pray" that more people lose their homes and jobs and savings".

The outrage of the killings, which obviously all are Hispanics "illegals, cough, cough" is the same horse manure only

the likes of the Lou Dobbs enablers here at V/J so famously are known for.

Instead of railing against the real criminals, those who they "hope and pray" that have caused the loss of homes and

jobs and savings (Bush/Cheney) Junta, they practice their best Lou Dobbs theme of "stealing our jobs, our women and

our schools"....Such pathetic thread I might add.

  16. Right back at you, Robert.:star:

Mister Fancypants, always good to hear from you. I read you very often and admire your views on most of what

you say...Keep up the good attitude and keep the V/J family together.

    Good luck, and peace!

  17. “If we don’t act swiftly and boldly,” declared President-elect Barack Obama in his latest weekly address, “we could see a much deeper economic downturn that could lead to double-digit unemployment.” If you ask me, he was understating the case.

The fact is that recent economic numbers have been terrifying, not just in the United States but around the world. Manufacturing, in particular, is plunging everywhere. Banks aren’t lending; businesses and consumers aren’t spending. Let’s not mince words: This looks an awful lot like the beginning of a second Great Depression.

So will we “act swiftly and boldly” enough to stop that from happening? We’ll soon find out.

We weren’t supposed to find ourselves in this situation. For many years most economists believed that preventing another Great Depression would be easy. In 2003, Robert Lucas of the University of Chicago, in his presidential address to the American Economic Association, declared that the “central problem of depression-prevention has been solved, for all practical purposes, and has in fact been solved for many decades.”

Milton Friedman, in particular, persuaded many economists that the Federal Reserve could have stopped the Depression in its tracks simply by providing banks with more liquidity, which would have prevented a sharp fall in the money supply. Ben Bernanke, the Federal Reserve chairman, famously apologized to Friedman on his institution’s behalf: “You’re right. We did it. We’re very sorry. But thanks to you, we won’t do it again.”

It turns out, however, that preventing depressions isn’t that easy after all. Under Mr. Bernanke’s leadership, the Fed has been supplying liquidity like an engine crew trying to put out a five-alarm fire, and the money supply has been rising rapidly. Yet credit remains scarce, and the economy is still in free fall.

Friedman’s claim that monetary policy could have prevented the Great Depression was an attempt to refute the analysis of John Maynard Keynes, who argued that monetary policy is ineffective under depression conditions and that fiscal policy -- large-scale deficit spending by the government -- is needed to fight mass unemployment. The failure of monetary policy in the current crisis shows that Keynes had it right the first time. And Keynesian thinking lies behind Mr. Obama’s plans to rescue the economy.

But these plans may turn out to be a hard sell.

News reports say that Democrats hope to pass an economic plan with broad bipartisan support. Good luck with that.

In reality, the political posturing has already started, with Republican leaders setting up roadblocks to stimulus legislation while posing as the champions of careful Congressional deliberation -- which is pretty rich considering their party’s behavior over the past eight years.

More broadly, after decades of declaring that government is the problem, not the solution, not to mention reviling both Keynesian economics and the New Deal, most Republicans aren’t going to accept the need for a big-spending, F.D.R.-type solution to the economic crisis.

The biggest problem facing the Obama plan, however, is likely to be the demand of many politicians for proof that the benefits of the proposed public spending justify its costs -- a burden of proof never imposed on proposals for tax cuts.

This is a problem with which Keynes was familiar: giving money away, he pointed out, tends to be met with fewer objections than plans for public investment “which, because they are not wholly wasteful, tend to be judged on strict ‘business’ principles.” What gets lost in such discussions is the key argument for economic stimulus -- namely, that under current conditions, a surge in public spending would employ Americans who would otherwise be unemployed and money that would otherwise be sitting idle, and put both to work producing something useful.

All of this leaves me concerned about the prospects for the Obama plan. I’m sure that Congress will pass a stimulus plan, but I worry that the plan may be delayed and/or downsized. And Mr. Obama is right: We really do need swift, bold action.

Here’s my nightmare scenario: It takes Congress months to pass a stimulus plan, and the legislation that actually emerges is too cautious. As a result, the economy plunges for most of 2009, and when the plan finally starts to kick in, it’s only enough to slow the descent, not stop it. Meanwhile, deflation is setting in, while businesses and consumers start to base their spending plans on the expectation of a permanently depressed economy -- well, you can see where this is going.

So this is our moment of truth. Will we in fact do what’s necessary to prevent Great Depression II?

    http://www.alternet.org/workplace/117808/t...at_depression_/

When invoking the Great Depression of the 1930`s, what we read is "money, money and the economy. No one who

did not live in that era knows the true hardships and suffering...There was "no money then, no economy" only

    hunger and pain.

I know. I lived it...See link of two boys waiting for a government issued bowl of soup during the Great Depression.

It would be the only meal for that day.

    http://www.english.uiuc.edu/maps/depressio...ges/mission.jpg

Now that is the Great Depression that I remember. It was everybody on his own. Parents abandoned their kids to

survive. The saying "to each its own" comes from that era. Only the strongest survived.

  18. I had a feeling you hadn't seen it yet.

    :D

You were right SpiritAlight, I had not seen it...I do however, have the Free Hugs T shirt. It is too cold for that

    right now.

    Thanks again.

  19. Hugs back!

  20. Nighthawk,

I was stunned to discover that lately you had inadvertently taken a vow of silence. Nice to see you posting again.

    A friend, Nagi

Yessss! I was hoping to lure you into a comment.. My dear friend, a warm hug to you. I am spreading myself

thin today like mayo. My hugs are free today, kisses go for 50 cents.

    Good to hear from you.

No, 'no vow" taken, just distracted by other things happening in my life...All pretty good.

Good luck Nagi...Take care of yourself.
