A quick questions guys how long does it take between the e-mail from USCIS states that USPS picked my GC for devilry ? Thank you and have a great weekend

Got that email on the 4/4 and the card came on 4/6 ....this was my case however your mileage may vary. Also, the letter came in a USPS red, white and blue mailer. I don't know why it kinda caught me off guard because it looked like a junk mail piece. It included a little tri-fold pamphlet about residency, a little paper holder to carry the card in and the card attache to a form that had the A# and other info which would be good to store somewhere.

We got a 2nd approval yesterday....I guess I could have a raffle and raffle it off

Actual letter received today and it had the date of decision as 3/26/2012....information from before based on email.

I received an email and text message that card production was ordered on 3/30/2012

Uscis received my application on Nov 18 and I got the receipt number by mail on Nov 23. I just put the receipt numer online and it came back "Your case cannot Be found this time...."

Is it normal or I have to call them? Thanks!

We went to the Orlando center and had no problem completing an early biometric appointment today!

We're worried now because it has been a month and a half since our NOA for our application on removal of conditions that said to wait for a biometrics letter. No letter biometrics letter has arrived. We cannot check case status because we need the case number on a biometrics letter to check our status.

We tried calling the information center 800 375 5283 and there are three options, only one of which pertains to us and we have to enter the number we have not received yet so it is impossible to reach a person to help.

An Infopass appointment is almost a 900 mile round-trip. There is no number we can find for a field office. We had someone in the August filers for removal of conditions tell us they called USCIS - but we did that and already and found it impossible to reach a person. Is there some other number to call? Our mail may have been stolen because at about the time other people were getting their biometrics letter appointments there was a rash of mail thefts on our road. The theives threw away what they did not want to keep, so it is possible we were sent a letter and did not receive it.

If we have to travel nine hundred miles for an INFOPASS appointment to find out we are on a waiting list for appointments it is just too incredible to believe what hardship they are imposing when we ought to be able to call someone fer crying out loud.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Same just happened to us..........review my signature. It seems like the email to VSC got the ball rolling. But you need to call the National center to get the info.

After annoying USCIS finally received biometric appointment...letter dated 9/26/11, received 9/29/11, appointment date is 10/24/11. Will try walk-in appointment.

hi guys,im a july filers too..i sent my packet last july 19th, after two weeks i received a letter(NOA) saying that my conditional resident status is extended for 1 year and also it said that "in order to further process your petition,you will be receiving an application support center (ASC) appointment notice for the biometric "but its been almost 2 mos now & i don't receive any appointment yet...how long usually it takes to have an appointment notice?

Called this morning regarding the missing biometric letter. They ask if she went to her biometric appointment....the answer is obvious...no letter no appointment. The lady told me she would send the a request to Vermont and if we dont hear anything in 30 days call again.

This is the email I received...find it strange since I have never seen anyone in this office the couple of times we have gone:

I called today and it appears 30 days means 30 days not 28 days before they will give me any info....need to call back on Monday. Our receipt date was 7/28

A quit claim deed should suffice. However I would get a registered copy from the clerk of the courts that shows it has been recorded, this is also good for you because you will know the title company actually did record the quit claim deed as well. The quit claim deed should clearly spell out the how is the property is held, will say some thing to the effect ofj ohn a doe and jane a doe husband and wife(example).

Has everyone whose checks have been cashed recieved a NOA hard copy? I am still waiting, I would feel more comfortable with the 1 year extension letter in hand.

Please make sure to reply to the most recent timeline post when making changes so that info isn't deleted. Looks like the last few updates have lost my info... not sure about anyone else's.

Thank you all for sharing this information. I come through Miami every time i go to Colombia and the line for the US Citizens are fairly short (15 - 20min wait) but the foreign citizen line looks crazy at times.. :blink:

I'll just explain to her that "We have been waiting for over 6 months so the wait of 2 - 5 hours at Immigration should be nothing"

Which airport in the USA was your POE and what kind of questions were you asked and how was the overall experience?

Im thinking about having my fiancee come through Miami but I've heard the wait times can be up to 5 hours at Immigration.

Alexandra came through Orlando...I think her process took her no more than 30 minutes. That obviously can differ based on the number of people being processed. Alex said that she wasn't really asked many questions, she didn't feel interrogated. She gave them the envelope then had to go through fingerprinting and they input her info into the system. The only thing they told her more than once was the date she had to be married by and they welcomed her to the USA. Her entry was non eventful from a processing standpoint.
