  1. Random thoughts: I love this site! Funny too, I consider myself American, but when you think about it, we were all immigrants once! Most of my family tree goes back to England, so hello to you guys from the UK! The Mother Land! Thank you Captain Ewok, this site has made this journey a lot more fun, and much smoother. I actually sailed through my I-129F without RFE's thanks to this site!

I apologize, I know I posted in the wrong forum on several occasions, I am kind of clumsy that way!

Only 16 days until my fiance joins me here in the U.S.! Thank you to all, I hope you all hang in there! Good Luck everyone!

  6. Hello everyone! Congratulations on finishing this important step! My fiancee is in Manila Philippines, and I am in Portland, Oregon USA. We have been apart since a wonderful holiday together in Manila in July. We are both so excited to finally get our I-129F filed. Good luck to everyone, please check out my profile. I am interested to meet others that are going through this process, especially anyone who is like us: Philippines and USA!

Good luck and blessings to all of you!

  7. My fiance is filling out his g-325a form and he has got to the section requesting information about previous employment, we have been advised to leave no gaps. For the first 16 years of his life he was in education, therefore not needing a job - what does he need to put in place? Would 'unemployed - in education' be the sensible option or just leave it out entirely? Thanks!

Hello, and good luck to both of you. My advice is to read the question, what are they asking for:

Applicant's employment last five years. (If none, so state.) List present employment first.

You only need to describe the past five years, so your fiance should describe the period of time from today, back in time 5 years. My fiancee listed her employment and her one period of unemployment. She only went back 5 years.

    I hope this helps.
