    So i am nearly due to have my 2nd HPV vaccine. I was wondering if i have to have it? I am going to be applying to remove conditions, do they request to see evidence of having all three jabs?\

    If i do have to get it where can i get it from, we havent figured out health insurance yet.

    Help anyone?

    I just came through POE at SFO and the embassy told to line up through the visitor line, i did that, then when it came to my turn the guy told me to go to the other end, which took me to the USA citizen side, there i noticed there were signs for new immagrants, so i think if she cannot see one of them, then just with the visitors, either way she will be fine, it just takes a little longer.

    I would like to thank everyone on here. This forum and been a saving grace and had guided me through so quickly. It is so nice to be able to talk to people who know what i am talking about and know how it feels.

    I got my passport and visa back today, i was so nervous in case they couldnt find my house, and that they would have to reschedule my delivery, but it was ok. I have been holding my big brown envelope like it's a baby :)

    I am leaving tomorrow, and i am sad but also very excited.

    See you all on the other side of the pond.....hmmmmm thats if i remember my login and password as i am always signed in on here..........i'll have a think.

    Booking flight this afternoon!!!!woohooo.

    Seeing as i dont know what time my passport is gonna come on Monday. I'm booking it for Tuesday. His mum will be picking me up, more than likely. LOL

    I cant wait. The only problem is, Rob is at work and school all day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.....but at least i will be able to talk to him through snoring. ;) When i say all day 6 am -10;30pm

    Last I heard from Roca, she was booking a trip like tonight lol - and yes on CR1 - she should be home with her mate this weekend. God Bless her good soul!!

    Well, i dont think i'm gonna get my passport back to Monday. Thats what the text message said. Sorry i havent replied sooner, i have been out all night celebrating and saying goodbye to friends.

    Yeah like suse said it was for the CR-1, i got an email back last week confirming that they would do the change.

    Well i just got back like 1 hour ago. I had to wait in London until my dad had finished with an interview.

    Anyway, here's what happened.

    I arrived at around at bond street tube station at 6:50. I then had a slow walk towards the embassy, which is only 5 mins away. I took in Oxford street (which is one of the biggest streets for shopping London). It was nice to see it dead!!

    I was walking through square right next to the embassy and i bump into Kris. i talked his ear off, which i do when i am excited...

    anyway... got in line and we waited till about 7:30, when they started to let us in through security. I went through (praying that my memory stick will be ok..didnt realise it was in my bag) It was fine. Walked around to the door and took a ticket number. I was so happy when i saw the magic 5000. I was the first one.

    Sat there from 7:46 till 8 and called to window 14, where i met a guy, he took my passport and told me to hang for a min. He went and got my stuff. He then gave me back my exrays, and just went through my file, taking out originals, ticking things. I also got a pass port pic back (one of the one's sent to the NVC), apparently they only need one. He took my finger prints, gave me a note about removing conditions, gave me a welcome to America book, and then told me to sit down and wait for the interview.

    All i had to give to him was my passport!!!

    I then sat down and was waiting for about 10-15 mins, not long at all, and then i was called to windon 15 and was met by a young american women. She was very nice and she asked how i was. She then verified my finger prints, gave me back documents, which were already sitting in the dip thing (not sure what it is called). I then swore i was telling the tught was asked to sign the DS-230 part 2. She then asked me 4 questions...well it was 3i think the 4th was just being nosey.

    1st, Tell e about your husband, how did you meet?

    2nd-does he live here?

    3rd - what does he do

    4th- which i wont into too much detail, but was asking about his dad (co sponsor) what he did. Just being nosey about something which i thought was her opinion and shouldnt of been in the interview.

    Then she said, your approved.. take pink slip to courier.

    That was it out and on Oxford street by 8;40 :dance::dance::dance::whistle:

    NVC Scheduling interviews today July 28

    Well today When I called the NVC, They had scheduled my interview for September 23. :dance::dance:

    I will not be attending this one because My wife has her K3 interview on August 14th. And because the NVC has finally set my CR1 interview, they will be sending our file to the embassy. And it should make it there well before the K3 interview and it will be changed to the CR1 interview.

    So anybody whose case is complete, you can start calling the NVC today to get your interview date. :dance::dance:

    I have a question and a small dilemma and I think I fall in the same shoes as yourself in the following situation.

    I made a small mistake to pursue the visa k-3, since today I found out the my I-130 and I-129f was approved at the same time. The I-130 is just waiting for the AOS fee and the choice of agent form from my wife for further processing. Now the visa k-3 interview is already set up in Bogota, Colombia on the 24th of October. What wish to do, if possible, maybe move the appointment/cancel it by fax them a letter stating that I wish to pursue the Cr-1 visa instead.

    Any advise will be greatly appreciate it.

    Well i think you have 3 possible choices.

    1- You wait it out...keep the K3 interview and try and get complete at the NVC before the date of the K3 interview. Then get the embassy in Bogota to request your documents to be forwarded. Possibly may not happen in time if you are waiting on mail etc.. You could email the choice of agent form and tey and get the IIN (identification Invoce number) from the NVC, they dont give this out easily and you will have to try and call at random different times but you can get it.

    2- I have seen somone request for an expedite on the processing at the NVC due to having a K3 interview sheduled. They were granted, what i think they do in that case is finsih the rest of the processing at the consulate in the foreign country. A post that maybe you can look for..i think it's called something like expedite request granted...

    3- Leave the K3 visa, and if you get case complete before the interview, but it;s not enough time to get your case to the consulate in the other country, then call or email, telling them that you are now case complete at the NVC with the I-130. i was told the I-130 over rides the K3.

    There maybe more options.

    I will be just around the corner from you on Friday, as i have my interview. So good luck. The doctors is a little tricky to find, well my husband and i found it tricky anyway. I would get a better map or directions than the one on the form.

    I think it's Map B I have, literally two seconds from Bond St. and I hope I don't find it tricky :lol:

    I will get there at 9am for my 9.30 appt because I know they'll get stroppy if I show up at 8.30 when they're having their morning coffee.. don't want to bump into miss happy. Apparently someone said she's fit :lol: mmm

    We used map B and walked way out of our way. I think it was due to the fact that we knew that we needed to get there and i was stressed. You should be alright. Good luck

    I just came back from the local congressman's office, spoke with the immigration specialist.

    Which was very nasty to me, did not even let me speak and said you just have to wait sometimes there is nothing you can do.

    I do understand that, i said but i'm preg....and she cut me off and didnt want to hear it.

    I felt like crying, it's been a year since i filed,. talk about going to someone for help!

    As she was on the phone calling CSC she hangs up takes my paper work and says this is a waste of time.

    Came back had me sign something and with her back turned handed me my receipts and said i'll email them and let you know.

    I said sorry for wasting your time and left.

    Sorry to hear that. I don't think people outside of our little visa world understand what we go through!!

    Just curious have you had any problems when you were filing, like sending it to different address or anything at all?

    Well just one more hurdle to jump over and by what i have read the interview should be the smallest hurdle.

    Did you have to get the HPV jab? If you did is your arm sore/bruised?

    yes ROCA i had the 2nd dose of HPV VACC, my arms SORE SOO BAD :crying: , cant wait for the interview just....

    Yep mine too. I have only had the first one, my arm hurt and i still have a bruise it's been two weeks..... :crying:

    A little. I stayed with friends when i was travelling for a year, up in Portola valley. My husband was living in Atherton at the time (before we were married) that where we met.

    I will be living north bay when i return, Corte Madera.

    I love the bay area. It is so beautiful

    Emeryville...hmmm, i'm trying to figure out where that is in connection with place si know. I'm going to have a look.
