Well crew some news! Karim got his visa in hand on June 22, 2009!

Now just working hard to get the ticket funds together so I can get him here my the end of the month! Wish me luck and make lots off prayers as I am constantly praying for all of you still waiting!

I can't sleep knowing that in less than 2 weeks I have to go back home without my husband! I don't know what to do! I am so upset right now! Why did we get AP? This stinks majorly because I was expecting him to be able to fly home with me. He had even quit his job (a really good job-which is very hard to find in his area). I am actually very ticked off and losing sleep! What is there we can do to track this stupid AP? They told him 3-6 months is it really going to take that long? Here it is everyone else is sleeping and I am up researching stupid AP. I HATE AP!!!!!!!!

~Hello! So, sorry for the late response we have been so busy! The interview went smoothly and everything is fine according to the officer! Just waiting on the visa as per his request. They told him he has to pick up his passport with the visa on it when he is called from Amex. Is this meaning no AP or short AP? Need tips here! We will post the review soon, we are somewhat busy this week with family!~

Hi Mahitab. I think he still has AP because he did not hear an exact approved did he? Karim had his interview several weeks back and they did not keep his passport but issued two sheets of paper. One white and one green. What is the deal with colors and keeping and not keeping of pasports. Anyone got any idea? What is the longest time for AP and does color of forms matter? Karim was told he is undergoing documentation administrative processing. How time consuming is this process? Please reply soon.

A red flag is something you look for before the wedding.

In theory, yes. But, in reality, it doesn't always show till much later.

I've always had these "red flags" I lived by. This year, I had a friend disprove all my red flags in her relationship. She changed my mind.

If you feel something is wrong, go with it. Question it until it is resolved in your mind. I trust my intuition.

They are saying that just because someone doesnt want kids, or doesnt want them right away DOES NOT mean they dont love you, or that its not a valid relationship.

I think "quizzing,tricking or otherwise trying to coax something out of your husband is not a good idea.

If you really think that he is using you or her... ask yourself WHY you think that, what makes you feel this way? is it some feeling you have? something they have said or done? or is it simply because they are a forgiener and you have heard stories and you are "being careful". You are married now and "tricking" your husband is not the best approac. All of those trick questions should have been raised VERY early on, if you were questioning intentions

Yes this all came up after a friend of his made a remark about somebody going to South Africa to marry and they all acted like it was taboo to marry someone who was darker than a jar of honey. But my cousin is like the color of Toni Braxton or something. Anyway, I think it is totally BS. I guess I wont worry about myself. I have been to Morocco, and let me tell you I had a very bad time there and bad experience with the people. I am sure not all Moroccans are bad, but from my experience I do not trust them. Hopefully your sister is not being used.

Well, is there something in the Arab culture where they prefer white skin over black and feel the need to have an extra wife on the side in a sense they believe black women are beneath them? I feel this because he has been telling people he does not feel he can be happy with only a black wife that he needs a white wife too. But at the same time I know a few men from there who seem happily married to black women.

As for me, I am white but I am mixed because my family is from Hawaii and I have sort of "the look" but I am white in skin. I do not know if my husband finds my skin an issue at all but I feel he may just wanted to immigrate here??? But, how do I go about figuring it out? What q's to ask?

Hello! There is a spreadsheet thread by mahitab & samir. check their profile. The spreadsheet reflects VSC, CSC, and TSC. Looking for a NSC if possible too. The idea was to compare the amount of time the centers each take. Comparisons have been amazing! Here we go again waiting for the service center's to give us there monthly update as to were they are with th approval process. It is the 18th and I am sure they will contact wispher2me to find out what they should post for VSC I sure hope that VSC done something this month beside dump a load on CSC.
