Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.., after reading and all your suggestions, i will send

1. a copy of my front page passport( shows my gender),

2. My Birth certificate is in Spanish (Somebody knows where to bring it to be traslate to the English Language?...They want an Official traslation)...

3. Copy of my expired Green Card

4. Copy of my daughter birth certicate where show that i am the mother

5. Copy of my marriage certicate

6. Some pictures

7. a doctor's note when he say thta i am a female

8. What do you guys think about a copy of my Driver License?

will this situation is going to affect my term to apply for my naturalization? I called again and they said that probably i am going to need a new Biometric test, and can take the process between 5 to 6 months.

i checked to my I-751 and they don't ask about my gender (like Hondo1z said)

Hi everybody!!!!

I just received in the mail my 10 years Green card....thats the good news!!! The bad news is that the card put my sex as M (male) and I am F (female). I just called the 800 number......customer service and they said I had to fill out an I90 form and prove my sex. I asked what i shpuld use to prove my gender and they did not give me a concrete example. The person that i spoke to also told me that i need to prove that the error was an administartive error....because if I am responsible for the error i have to pay $370.00. My expired green card definately says i am a F (female). I am sure I filled out the form correctly. The person that i spoke to also told me that the process could take as long as 6 months.!!!!!!!!! can you belive that?????????????...i am so sad!!!!!!!!!!!......Does anyone have ideas that could help my situation...ie what documents to use to prove my gender? A way that wont take 6 months? Similar situations? Thanks for your help!.

Hi everybody....

I want to know if this happened to somebody else.....i got approved on June 23/10 (Removal Condition Green card)...i received a e-mail letting me know that i got approved that day, also, a received mail on the 25/10 (Congratulation letter)...i checked my e-mail a couple days ago and a received another e-mail from USCIS saying that i got approved on July 7/10...Yesterday a checked my e-mail and they said that they sent my congratulation letter by mail on July 8/10....so....why i received a congratulation letter on june 25 and now i am going to receive a new one....which one is the right one?????...i also checked my case status online and before on june 25 the new update said DECISION: Green card ordered......i checked Today again and said POSTDECISION.....i don't really understand? Has this happened to someone else?

I never informed them about my address change(I moved a month after a received my green card in the mail)...they know my new address now that i sended my I-751 a couple weeks ago....that wasn't a problem...i received my NOA1 letter to my new address without any inconvenience!!!...i also didn't know that we have to inform them about address changing!...so don't worry, everything is OK

That happened to me a couple weeks ago, probably two week ago...someone male asked for me and had a weird voice(now, that made sense, was a jamaican acent...i know because a lived in jamaica for two years).....he was calling all day long (probably three times) but i was at work and i never answered numbers that i dont know.....finally, i answered in the night...he asked for me by my full name and i said...yes, i am...and he hung up the phone.... ....the call was from a restricted number and in the night from a 800- number... i am getting worry now!!!!

I received my NOA1 in the mail today!!!! 04-08-10. NOA 1 is dated 03/30/10 if someone would be so kind and change that in the list?...i was trying to do it but i think that i did it wrong!....thank!!!!

Hi Everybody

The 90 days before the expiration of my conditional residency start this weekend. So I have to send my I-751 to remove my conditional status from my residency. I am feeling stressed with this process and i really need your help!!!!I am navigating this process on my own with no attorneys help. so you guys are my lawyers!.....My questions are...........

1. Is there a special format that I need to use when writing my cover letter? Should the cover letter contain a table of contents?

2. Should I give an explaination in my cover letter of the documentation that I am including.

3. How many pictures should I include? I want to layout pictures on legal paper and write something about the picture below. Is this a good format?

4. Other formating tips specifically how to bind the documents when sending them in? staples? large clips?

I have in this moment my passport with the visa CR-1 in my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!….siiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!....I went this morning to the Embassy and they were not going to fix the mistake in my visa….so….I waited waited and waited all the morning there….and they fixed it!!!!!.....i am really excited…the process was really hard but thanks God We got it…..THANKS everybody for the attention to my post…

june 12/2008....So...I went to the Embassy the last Monday...I left my passport and they told me that they were going to fix it immediately so they were to call me in the afternoon and I was going to have my Visa CR-1 in my hands the same day…I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEIR CALL...we have called every single day...they always promise me that the next day is going to be ready...and nothing!!!!....today is Thursday and nobody try to help me...I am feeling really mad...i feel like they are playing with me, they are very irresponsible!!!!!!...my parents in law want to write their Congressman …I am not sure if that can help me or not………what do you think???...what should I do now???”)

I think we need info on your timeline. Are you living in Jamaica? I see your local office in Kingston. But you're a national of Columbia, yes? Did you interview in Kingston? It wouldnt surprise me that they messed up like this. They are a really crappy Embassy. i cant believe they did this. Give me more info and I may be able to help you.
