i guess since st. luke's advised her to come back then it means that she's negative from the culture & she can proceed to the interview at the embassy at the date that st. luke's gave her. they don't really give out the results, they will be forwarding it to the embassy. the only thing that they will give her is a copy of her immunization record.

Hello sis! yeah we're here in michigan, super cold na dito ngayon start pa lng nang winter by jan.mas laong malamig pa dw & makapal na snow.ngayon minsan pa lng snow kaya natutunaw pa pero ang wind chill ang hindi ko ma take. dito kmi sa westland, malapit sa detroit medyo malayo sa cedar spring.

Guys im back! Finally, we just received our green card today... but until now my son's SSN has not yet arrived on mail.we've been here since Oct.29, 2008, after 9 days i got my SSN frm mail but my son's wasn't there. we went to the Social Security office near here in our place but they told us to wait bcoz even if we applied as family it will not be process together, it will be individually process...

well then we have to wait...i'm just very happy ryt now that i have already my Green Card to i can take the Driving Exam & look for job! my God, grabe dito mahal lahat, kasing grabe din nang lamig! ...one more thing, nag sa-suffer din dito ngayon ang economy, kawawa ang ibang tawo dito na nawawalan nang bahay, especially the children, kawawa..

sis, that was last sunday also when we went to Toledo Zoo.plano talaga is Detroit Zoo lng para malapit but sabi mas marami dw animals sa Toledo and magkakalayo dw ang animals sa detroit zoo compare to Toledo...sabi nga nang husband ko atleast dw 2 states na napuntahan namin nang anak ko wala pa kmi 1 week dito...hehehe...nxt stop is chicago on Thanksgiving naman...

it depends after the 2mos. results. if your wife is negative with TB then she can proceed with immunization but if she's positive, then she'll have to finish the 6mos.treatment or until she's clear with TB...let's just hope that your wife's result is okey & g00dluck!

sis according to the speaker during the seminar at CFO, hawaii airport is one of the worry-free airport. di sila mabusisi o strict ksi madaming pinoy doon na nagtatrabaho even at the airport. unlike the other airports here mainland US...goodluck on ur trip!

Hi everyone! It's been qyite sometime na hindi ako naka pag online. Just wanna let you know that our interview last Oct.23, 2008 was very fast & smooth...in short we were APPROVED! then the next day delbros txted me that our visa is ready for shipping, the next day saturday our visa arrived!

Tomorrow, oct.29 will be our flight to the US, POE is Detroit via Northwest airlines...tanx evryone...i'll be posting again here when we arrive...

Hi guys, any IR1 here who has finished already with their interview? i just want to know, aside from the visa delivery fee for DELBROS, are there still any fee that needs to be paid? my husband has already paid the $70 for visa application & the $400 for Visa Processing Fee...anything else? my interview will be tomorrow, Oct.23, @ 6:30am..please include me & my son in your prayers...Tanx so much!

Hi Zen Den, SLEC don't give out xray result. They're the one forwarding it to the USEM, it is place on a CD wherein before releasing a copy of immunization worksheet, they will let u check if your name on the CD is correct...

hi. i have a Q re: x-rays results...did they give you yours (the actual x-ray) or was it forwarded to the USEM? a friend who's done with her medical was not given hers. just curious. by the way, congratulations on passing the medical and good luck!!

My wife had her immunization done today at SLEC. They are forwarding the documents to the Manila Embassy. Does that mean she passed her medical?

Hi everyone! just wanna share with you my medical experienced @ SLEC with my child since wednesday Oct.15 - 17, 2008

Oct.15

First day of our medical. we arrived here in manila from bacolod via cebu Pacific @ 7:40am. at around 9am we dropped our luggage here at Cherry Blossoms Hotel & went to SLEC. we started the medical @ 10am & end at exactly 6:30pm. they don't have lunch break so we never had lunch also. i have biscuits, candies & water for my son which i hide inside his backpack. he brought along with him his PSP so he never get bored (maski papaano)...i was surprised when we enter the bldg.ang daming tao! aound lunch time, medyo maluwag na since ang iba had their lunch.we got out at 3pm to buy some food at the nearest Mini Stop & got back to SLEC.Everything was finished on the first day, my xray, son's Tuberculine Test, & Physical Exam...I was told to come back along with my son fri. Oct.17 to have my xray result, vaccination & reading of my son's skin test.

Oct.16

Second day. Our rest day. we just stay at the hotel the wholeday, just went down to have lunch & dinner @ Robinson's Ermita just beside Cherry Blossoms. I was always checking my son's skin test. i was really scared & napa-praning as always...i was very sure enough that he will be ask to have an xray boz he had a reaction to the PPD.

Oct.17

Third day. Supposedly our last day, but as expected my son was told to have an xray. i proceeded to my immunization (which until now is still aching, medyo mabigat pakiramdam nang both arms ko). i finished my medical this afternoon & we have to go back on monday for my son's xray result. The doctor who reads my son's skin test even told me to ask at the xray room if i could get my son's xray reslut in the afternoon so he can finished his medical with me, bcoz according to her, his xray will be negative rin naman since i was negative too. but when i ask the xray technician, d daw pwede kasi pina-prioritize nila ang malapit na interview, like for example next day na ang interview.

So far, the medical was all smooth from start to finish...i never had a rude experience like the others here once had. from the guards, nurses & doctors...puro lahat mababait...i even talked to one of the guard and a nurse whi are ilonggos too...i just hope & pray that my son's xray will be fine (negative result) so we could both proceed to our interview on the 23rd of October.
