  1. I was also sad to see the RosaMystica7's journey timeline which has been actually fast.

I was just poking my head in to say hello... and wow, I'm happy to see that this post is still here after all this time. Well, my Frenchie and I have been separated since August, will be divorced when I can afford it. I hope all of you have happier stories than I did. Anyone here still from my time on VJ that remembers me? I'm kinda curious. ^_^

i was not here, but that's a sad to hear that a story ends after all that "pain" and efforts that visa journey requires.

  2. After sending 2nd fax myself last midnight (5 fax for this package 3 total). I got a phone call from US embassy in paris today. a nice lady told me my fiancee can pick up the package 3 for Friday morning. finally some good news. thank you for the encouragement!!

thank you all for the answers. I will keep on trying.

    Hi jeffmelody,

Like Lili&Kai, I would not advice you to call the number where they charge you! I did call for the same exact reason (worried I didn't receive my P3 yet), and I also had a useless guy! He didn't seem to know anything about the P3!, or about the K1 visa!!

I remenber sending them a fax, which they never responded, but I know I had my P3 pretty soon after sending it.

If I were you, I would try to wait a little bet more; even if I totally understand that the wait is hard!! I remenber checking my mail box as soon as the mail guy passed!!!

Good luck to you!! and let us know if you have any other news! ;)

  4. I just found this thread in this subforum. it has been 5 weeks since national visa center sent me a letter regarding the K1 case which will be sent to US embassey in paris. we still haven't got the package 3.

I tried to call the embassey and was told they only accept fax for queries. now we have sent 3 fax, 3/11, 3/23 and 3/24. still no any response. i am going to call the embassey again on Monday.

Have any of you had this kind of experience? it's not smooth on every steps of this journey. i am so tired these days.

  5. panterchen, good to see u here again. haven't been here for a while. :star:

Hey, guys! Had to search this thread for a while. Where are you?? ;-)

Just wanted to share our joy: we got approved at the embassy yesterday!! It is hard to believe but they gave us no trouble whatsoever. They did not even want to see any proof of relationship! Nothing. My visa will come in the mail next week and I will go as soon as I can get a flight.

Some of you guys are probably already married?! Common' we want to see some honey-bunny pictures!! :-)

  6. OMG!!! it's approved. Finally!!! i saw the email with the time stamp 5:15PM

"On January 29, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service."

the visajourney website is very slow to me now.

i spent a long to update my signature, still couldn't find the link to update timeline. but i will try again hard!

wow! 8 months. without visajourny and all the fellow applicants here, i can't survive

    this long period of waiting.

And i believe the mail i sent to my congressman and senator definitely helped.

  7. Nancy,

I had same problem. forgot to sign. and finally my NOA1 is June 5th. whatever the problem is, there has been no update for my case since June 26, 2008. tried all the means, including contacting state senate and senate subcommitte, I called USCIS again today. asked to transfer to next level representive, still the same answer "processing time is march 7, 2008, I am sorry you feel like this is just an excuse, but there is nothing we will do". To keep me from being upset because of this phone call, i came to VJ immediately.

Merry Xmas to you and your son! Good luck for next year. for now, let's just enjoy the beautiful holidays!

    Hello June Filers -

My son is the filer. I've been helping him with this process. He was in Afghanistan for 4 months, and superbusy with work, placating his fiance <G>, etc.

I'm new here, so hope I can get the lingo correct.

The NOA1 was dated Feb 29. One of his forms was sent back because he hadn't signed it. It was sent back, although past the requested date. They received it June 19, and according to the website, "Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed."

I am assuming that they stopped work on his application until they received the form back, and realistically his case is now grouped with the June filers. He has not heard anything since then. According to the processing dates, they are about 6 1/2 months behind, so I am assuming that (hopefully) he hears something by the middle of January, working in extra days off for the holidays?

I'm nervous that his file has fallen behind some caseworkers desk. <G>

His fiance is a Romanian citizen legally living and working in London, and she's really getting antsy, as is my son!

Thanks, and congrats to all who have heard something from them!

    Nancy

  8. Hi, mike,

I tried this before and successfully talked with the next level support. he asked more info like my birthday and home address... and i got exactly same answer. "processing march cases. call back in 3 month" :crying:

Here's what Mike and I do and it always works:

    -call uscis

-once the agent starts reading from the uscis website, cut him off and say : I'VE READ THAT ALREADY. PLEASE TRANSFER ME TO HIGHER LEVER SUPPORT NOW.

    - if the agent refuses and tells you anything at all, don't let him speak, just say: I WANT TO TALK TO NEXT LEVEL SUPPORT, PLEASE.

    - if agent is being stubbort, tell him: I DEMAND THAT YOU TRANSFER THIS CALL RIGHT NOW.

you have the right to be heard and to be informed. they will try (but really cannot ) refuse to transfer the call.

you can try doing this as often as you could each day. bug them!

i wish you all the best!

    (F) Mike's Gracey

  9. unfortunately i am one of those late May early june filer who still haven't received NOA2. We might be in one same file case which has been ignored ever since late June and July. no RFE, no any touch since then. Jane&Keith might be one of those. good luck to all of us!!!

One more June Filer Approved on Dec 18, yesterday :thumbs: Good Luck to all who waiting to be Approved. But cann't see the profile.. so 2 June got approved this week..
  10. This week I received the replies from my senate and congressman for the fax I cc them on Monday (the igor's spreadsheet and the letter here in this thread forwarded by Krystle + Tiago). but no response from United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees, & Border Security (I guess they just forward to my own senate? and hopefully the USCIS).

still the online status was updated on June 26,2008

And i can't even schedule a infopass now with my local USCIS field office. (https://infopass.uscis.gov Washington Field Office "The week of December 15, 2008 through January 2, 2009 this office will have a limited amount of scheduled INFOPASS appointments. " At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later. unbelievable... i just wish someday. yes someday! i don't need to deal with this USCIS at all)

Other than that, Life is good and will go on! thanks all the vj fellow members. especially Krystle + Tiago, panterchen, kevin@anna, lili&kai. our spirit will be high no matter what USCIS did and they will have to finish processing our cases soon!!!!!!!! I wish you all good luck and great holidays!

  11. response from USCIS to congressman's office by email on 12/10/2008

"A review of our computer system shows that the fiancee petition was received at this office on 6/5/2008

and this office is currently processing these case types received on 3/7/2008"

    from the congressman letter

"please continue to contact with me with any additional information that you think may be helpful and may

assist my staff in bringing your case to conclusion"

Nothing will happen without further push

    the next:

get visajourney statistics or other EAC case # like what Krystle + Tiago is doing

    and the next:

    contact more source for help

Dear 6 month club members, Please let me know any suggestions.

I will schedule an infopass by xmas.

  12. Today is 6 month from my NOA1 date. No any touch since 6/26/2008!!!!:(:angry::angry:

called USCIS again, today i prepared a long statement, and told my story sincerely to the first level phone representive. finally i was transferred and after 10 minutes, could talk with a second level guy for the first time. he checked my case status for 5 seconds and told me the same USCIS information. March 7th blahblah. call us back in 3 months.

what else can I do? asked help from congressman. called USCIS... so messed up. sigh!

  14. Alex, you had an excellent timeline after NOA2. i just wish my case can be as lucky as yours.

now most May filers got NOA2. i hope i can get mine soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ana hi!

Yes, it feels so surreal, just a couple of weeks ago I was so worried about my NOA2 and now I’m 6 days away from my interview!!!

Let me tell you something; it was not a joke putting everything together!!! It took me almost 10 hours  ! But now I’m finally done!!!

    What’s new with you?

  15. yeap. it's jeff :)

per Igor's list, we are in the I-129F bear market since the top in May. still consolidating with very low volume.

I will visit Miami in 2 weeks. hope there is no hurricane at that time!

    Hi Jeff ? (Not sure)

    I completely understand your frustration!

Was really hopping to see more approvals this week! September is in 3 days and still nothing just a few approvals so far!

  16. Hi, Alex and all

I am also getting a little upset these days.

when i applied in May, VSC processed cases much faster. now CSC is catching up.

Luckily I prepared this in the beginning of august.

and made sure some very busy schedule for myself these few weekends

It's August. many people are in vacation. So is USCIS

    Natalia

    Hi you!

I’m doing good! Trying to keep my self busy with my friends and family!

    Sweet dreams!

    Gordon

What are you going to do in Northampton? Sorry if I’m asking too much!

    Have a nice trip!

    Ana

Thank you Ana, we really hope that to! It’s just so wonderful having him with the rest of the family!

Fingers crossed that we will hear something soon from the USCIS :innocent: !!

  17. i was there in May too. (while the strike was going on! what a mess. but i happily

    walked and used Velib)

My fiancee is nearby to Porte de Bercy. besides the seine river.

I am used to spend Friday night alone now. just trained for September half marathon. feeling great! :D

    Enjoy the weekend!

    Hi Jeff

    Nice to see you here!

We are 91 on Igor’s list, it’s getting close!!!!

Where in France are you/fiancé from?

Was there in may (Paris) , cant get enough of Paris! It’s a beautiful city with great food and wines, cant forget the cheese!

How are you doing this Friday night? I guess we are the only ones without a date for this evening :P !?
