(1)Is it OK for them to apply for re-entry permit (Form I-131?) in Houston on May 5, then travel to Toronto May 15?
(2) What exact reason should dad list for 2-year absence (business wind-down/personal matters in India)?Do they need new biometrics for I-131, given the fact that they already completed their biometrics in 2024 when they came to USA to complete their Greencard landing process requirements?
(3) If biometrics required (e.g., scheduled June 15), can they visit Toronto May 15- mid-June first, then return to US for it? What if they apply May 5 but leave for Canada before their biometrics is completed — what are the risks to application/green card?
