  1. Now imagine if we all could simply pay a fee and have the process expedited :). There prolly would be a backlog of such expedites, cause, man, I would take two more jobs to cover whatever fee they might charge just to be closer to my baby!

So, how is everybody doing this Tuesday? It's finally summer in full bloom here in Ukraine, so I'm about to get off my laptop and go see the world behind my window. Gotta keep myself busy.

Actually, just found smth to do while we wait for the approval. Will have to go and get all my certificates for the embassy. People, wish me luck with Ukrainian burecracy. For somebody who recently came back from the States, I'm on course for a major culture shock :).

Amen that, John and I would have emptied our savings, divested our investments and sold our land.

  2. As I started this I should probably state we are using a lawyer. It gives my finace peace of mind. I was fully prepared from the outset I downloaded every form in triplicate.

Having seen what the lawyer submitted I have to admit it is cleaner. So far apart from one minor delay I have been happy with their service and response times.

We are using Holmes & Lolly. My favourite reason for using them is our lawyer has been through this process himself and it was from his experience his entire practice changed.

But as I am only part way through the process watch this space :)

  3. Hi , I just called the medical office for a medical as my case is / should be complete shortly . Now , the lady i spoke to said i have to wait for my package from the Embassy ? is this correct ? the web site for interview preperation says you can schedule prior to receiving the package ! has anyone had a medical in London BEFORE they received there package from the Embassy ?? i am scheduled for this friday , any advice greatly appreciated .

I would ring again, I booked mine before packet 3 no problems. Just quote your ldn number.

Hi , I called and she asked for my case number which i quoted to her , she then asked if i had received my package , i said no but she has made me a little paranoid about going ! what did you take with you ? all i can see that comes in the package would be the medical questionairre ? i have downloaded that and will take my passport and a photo as stated ! what do you reckon ? was she misinformed ?

I dont remember taking any forms with me apart from the checklist, that i needed to fill in, that may be the reason they are asking if you recieved the packet yet.

    Good Luck

Hi , I downloaded the questionaire , i think i will call back to be sure , thanks for your help , Andy .

I had my medical before I submitted the I129f - cause it lasts 12 months from Australia and then later asked the questions of the USC and they said its fine as long as it is still valid.

  4. Could you maybe wish John and I to be next. Looks like you have the magic touch. Pretty Please

    Hey FarmersWife!

Your process is going through CSC? Then I knooooooooooow for sure you are the next ones to be approved! Hang in there, I am giving you 30 days notice! lol Another month (tops) and you will be approved!

I will be praying for all of you!

Awww shucks. Now I feel I've been blessed by the good fairy :)

  5. Well I don't know what to say!!!! I just received the e-mails that both my I-130 and I-129F were approved on May 29th. That is 29 days!!

I didn't beleive the emails at first, I had to read them over and over a few times. Then I went to the website and saw that it was indeed true. Both of my petitions have been approved.

This is very good news for the people in the CSC, it looks like they are approving them like crazy.

Also, since I sent both of my I-130 and I-129F together to the CSC, it looks like it is again working for sending both petitions together, at least to the CSC.

I know that there will be people that read this and are pissed about it, but nothing can bring me down right now!!!!!!

Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve! I toooold you! I tooooold you that you'd be the next one to be approved!

I AM VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR HERMOSA JESSICA!

Are you in BA's still or back in Seattle?! You should celebrate that with her! YAY!

    CONGRATULAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATIONS! :P

Don't let anyone bring you down!!!

    Renata!

  6. There is NO police report for USA.

This is handled by the name checks, by USCIS, NVC, and Consulate.

One less thing for you to worry about.

Note: Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain any police certificates covering their residence in the U.S.

Thanks to both of you, sometimes I feel my head is being done in.

  7. Be patient with the process. It is slow and frustrating but does eventually come to a conclusion. Try to keep positive thoughts and keep yourself busy and the time will go quickly.

As far as becoming a farmer's wife, I would suggest you get use to rising early in the morning and working long hard days. Farmers in America are hard workers with long hours. Just be prepared to assist him in every way and learn a lot about the process. The rewards of farming can be both monetary and soul satisfying, but it is a hard life.

Having just spent the last three months trying to develop a sleep pattern that includes waking at 4 am and then napping whenever possible inbetween I say AMEN.

It will be tough but I can't wait to be John the farm is just a bonus :).
