  1. Hi everyone, I’m considering applying for EB-2 NIW and wanted to get some honest feedback on whether my profile and proposed endeavor sound strong enough. My background: Master’s in Quantitative Management (Business Analytics) from Duke Post grad in Applied Stats Currently working in the U.S. in a Business Analytics role in the retail sector ~4 years of total work experience (including international experience) Strong focus on data analysis, analytics, and decision-making in large-scale retail environments My concern: My work sits at the intersection of business (retail) and analytics/AI, and I’m worried this may come across as too broad or “basic” compared to more traditional STEM or research-heavy NIW cases. Proposed endeavor (high level): Applying statistical and economic analysis to evaluate pricing dynamics, consumer demand, and supply-chain resilience in U.S. retail markets, with the goal of improving affordability, market stability, and economic efficiency at a national level. Publications / research: I don’t currently have any publications. I’m planning to write and submit 3–4 applied research or data-driven papers this year, using public datasets and industry-relevant problems to strengthen my NIW profile. For those who have applied for or received NIW: Does an endeavor like this sound viable for NIW if framed correctly? How critical were publications and citation counts in your case? Is it worth prioritizing conferences or media coverage early on? I’d really appreciate any candid feedback, even if it’s critical. Just trying to sanity-check before fully committing to the process. Thanks in advance!
