Hi how are you? I am curious what is in your checklist. I filed my mom's petition Dec. 16 and its approved after 32 days. I paid the AOS and IV fee and filled up ds-261 and ds-260 now I am just waiting for the 30 days for them to review the documents I have submitted. I hope no checklist for me so they can schedule my mom for an interview.

Just another update. Received an email from NVC that they finished with the reviews for my mother's petition. Still waiting for the schedule of her interview and medical, that I don't know how long. ?

I just get lucky no one in my family ask money from me, for almost 3 yrs married I never try to ask money from my husband to send it to my family but its my husband on his own will send them some money as a gift if its their birthdays, christmas and my husband volunteered to pay my parents monthly internet bill that we pay it in one time for the whole year. So when we have a financial problem I can still give a sweet smile to my husband. LOL! I am very proud of that he cant say anything about my family... But when I get a job I will send them some money from my own pocket...

Lucky girl indeed. My husband cannot afford an Iphone. Too much money for a piece of ####### he says. Diamonds are a girl's bestfriend. How a lucky a Pinay can get if she's being showered with gifts like diamonds and Iphones.

Ur right my hubby said iphone is a piece of ####### too. LOL! Anyway, I dont need it & diamond, ohhh I love diamonds ung diamond na may insurance ha kasi that is really expensive I saw one of that to my friend and its really nice may insurance din pla kahit diamond ring. Its like everything here ay naka insured.

I do agree with the post below. I also believe that majority of the Filipinos who are now here in the US are not like what the OP is trying to imply mainly because Filipinos are molded with good values. Incase, you'll encounter hypocrites, just ignore them because hypocrites are everywhere.

hi guys, most of you here were rigth...i also know one friend here, she keep asking material things from her husband without thinking what migth her husband feels about it. iphone, sets of diamond jewelry and etc. according to her, her husband will going to give her everything she ask because she know HE IS MADLY INLOVE WITH HER. first time we meet i keep talking to her,then later on when i discover what kind of person she is, i started to avoid her. why do we keep making friend to the abbusive people? they are just bad influence to us. THEIR JUST A DISTRUCTION TO OUR GOOD REPUTATION.

As I know americans are really generous, he love her so much and that simple stuff would make her happy so he give it to her. As long as he didnt bought it using his credit card or else baka hindi na sya makahinga sa utang nya hahahaha!

I didn't intended to show off the "SIRAAN" portion dear. As to what echoed above from my posts, this can SERVE as a wake up call sa mga pinay na kung umasta dito sa amerika ay parang mga reyna reynahan, mga mahahangin, at pinaka kita ang kanilang ka walang edukadahan. Isn't so shameful? I feel pity for them since they are causing their selves to not find a real friendship between fellow pinays around the area.

I don't mind making friends with pinay,and you are very right that if they don't act well... IGNORE.

"SIRAAN" is a right word here... So what if they act like that? Its their life, thats their choice, let them be happy and enjoy it. You cant please everybody... Education? If you are an educated person keep your mouth shut and try to understand them. Dont judge every pinay everyone have our own way to find a right friendship, dont be pity for them since you dont know the real person. I have so many filipina friends here and its so much fun to be with them it feels like Im home in the Philippines. Maybe ur the one who need a wake up call LOL... maybe ur so stressed u better mingle with them and have company, fun and laughters... LOL

all I can say is we better mind our own business and let everyone be happy... About english na pa slang-slang, we are in the english country and if the pinay want to speak english let her speak english its the best way for her to learn. We should not judge every pinay we meet because of the way she talk, the way she dress up... well for me I dont care really as long as they dont bother me personally... Its their choice let them be happy with their choice...

happywifeymom is right... u better report ur marriage here and renew ur passport here... you can check the requirements on the Embassy of the Philippines in washington. I have not report mine yet but I will do it when I renew my passport early next year...

Better call St. Luke and let them know that the embassy said they lost the medical records of ur gf and after you call them you call the embassy and tell them that what St. Luke told you... In my case I was approved but took so long with my NSO what we did was I let my hubby call them because they entertain and give update and they r nice to the petitioner. My hubby call the NSO and Embassy everyday and annoyed them and they will give you update so you will stop calling them and it works... LOL...

SLEC asking for a copy of annulment from annulled women... yeah i am worried too, when i found out, coz i read somewhere here about like my situation, regular med. is only 2 days but bcoz i am found psychologically incapa. too(petitioner) i need to undergo psychological evaluation at SLEC its an SOP of st. luke's... my friend done her med. for a month at SLEC.. :( :( :( :crying: :crying:

better have ur court order with you, from the medical up to the interview they r going to ask that from u...

go to www.uscis.gov they have instructions there what to write on the check just to make it sure.....

Dried fish? Just go to oriental store or any asian store u can find dried fish there....

I did my paper works by myself and I learn alot of things... Its easy no need to hire a lawyer after few days I sent my papers I just keep checking our bank account and the check is encash so meaning they got my papers and after few days they encashed the check I received my receipt. Just go to www.uscis.gov everything is there....

I talk my family at yahoo messenger but sometimes I still call on their phones I am using AT&T 25 cents a minute.

Well let ur fiance call the embassy they entertain and give details about ur case if the petitioner is the one who call, in my case it was my hubby who keep calling the embassy and the best time is morning there in the philipppines

Akala kasi nila pag dito ka na sa amerika mayaman ka na ang hirap kaya dito, walang pakialaman ang mga tao dito kasi lahat busy sa pagtatrabaho. ang kapitbahay ko nga dito 4months ko ng hindi nakakausap LOL mas masarap talaga sa atin kc kahit anong busy may time pa rin sa pag tsismisan hehehe! Sabi ng mga kaibigan ko mabuti pa raw ako kc dito na ako sa amerika at pag umuwi daw ako ang hinihingi sa akin na pasalubong digicam hahahaha! akala nila namumulot ako dito ng pera jusko mahiya naman sila. LOL
