So I and my spouse are eligible to file citizenship this year in June, 2026. There is some history related to my wife's immigration status. In 2013–2014, my spouse's prior employer withdrew her H-1B petition without notifying us. She continued working until she later learned of the withdrawal after 9 months. We promptly investigated the matter through FOIA, departed the United States 13-14 months later, and subsequently returned in H-4 status. Few months later, she got her H1 from new employer and this history was fully disclosed in all her subsequent H1B visa applications and got successful visa stampings multiple times and during my green card process, which was approved in 2021.
Any risk in citizenship application for my spouse especially now when the sentiment is against immigration and every application is being thoroughly investigated?
