  1. Hi, Everyone. I have filed my case in May 08 to TSC. Then, it was transfered to VSC. I did my BIO and nothing updated after that. I didn't worried too much till now but after I see those people who filed around same time as mine started to get approved. My case hasn't updated anything like "touched". Anyway, as I was reading some of forums, I see people trying to contact to Congressman or Senater in the states. And it seems like it's working to find the case what's going on. Here are some my quesiotns.

1)Which is better to contact Congressman?? or Senater??

2)Writting letter is better than making a call?

    3) Are your cases' number start from SRC###? Because mine does. But should it be started as CR###???

If someone can help me to answer these quiestions, I'd really appreciate.. Thanks.

  2. I'm same way here. I filed my case on May 25th 08, and was transfered to VSC from TSC. I did bio and that's it. Nothing has updated like "Touch' or even "approved". Istarted to worried about my case might be lost. If I don't hear anything in next two months, I think I'm going to contact with my Congress man and to see what he can do. Contacting to congress man seems helping other people in this forum. I really hope that they didn't lose my case....

  3. Hi, Everyone. My file was sent to TSC in May 08 and transfered to VSC after my bio was taken..according to the case number online. Since then, I haven't heard anything from them like receiving notice letter stating about my case was transfered. Anyway, I have been waiting, waiting and waiting like everyone in here. I noticed something different from my processing case from the others. After I went to Bio, my on lice case haven't updated anything. At first, it was normal until you are approved. Then, I looked at those people that cases were transfered from TSC and start approving , there cases online says "touched".

    My question is

    1) Should my case online have been updated saying "Touched" ? if not then, what should I do?

    2) Should I contact to Congress?

    Thank you.

  4. Yes, you should be receiving your I-751 approval before a trip in the fall - sometime within the next few months. If, by any chance, you haven't received an approval and you are getting close to the expiry of your extension you would make an Infopass appointment at your local USCIS office and they will put an I-551 stamp in your unexpired passport. The stamp is usually good for a year, although there have been a few cases where the stamps are issued for 6 months and 3 months validity. Hopefully you won't have to worry about that and will receive your approval soon. VSC has been taking about 11 to 12 months to process applications and I expect that will continue for a few months yet. Files from June and on were transferred to California but it looks like May files are still at VSC.

Thank you for your rresponding. I will wait till then and if I don't receive till my extented date, then I will go to get the stamp.

Do you know anything about N-400? Do I need to wait till I get my GC? or I could apply anyway?

  5. Hi, Everyone. I have some questions about the next step what I should do in case I don't receive my GC by my extedned experied date which is in Aug '09. I have sent my file (I-751) to TSC and received my NOA and Bio letter Then, my case was transfered to VSC. The USCIS online case status, it says that they transfered my case to VSC so I need to check up on VSC for processing time. And also they will send me a NOA to let me know that me case was transferd. Well, I didn't receive the letter. Ever since my BIo was taken, I have been checking my case but nothing has updated like not eveing saying "TOUCHED" or anything like that. I'm not too worried yet because the processing time says they are doning Mar '08, and I sent my file in May'08.

However, please anyone tell me what to do, if I don't receive anything till my extented date. I was going to visit my family in this fall assuming that I have received my GC.

Also, Do I need to wait to apply my N-400 till I get my GC?

    Thank you.

  6. Hi, Everone.

I'm still wiating my I-751 to be approved. I sent my case to TSC but they transfered to VSC which didn't surprised me after reading all the experiences peolpe were having with TSC for I-751. At VSC, they are processing slower than CSC or anyother service center. I'm assuming yet not hoping that my case could be taking a bit longer than expecting which is before 5/09. That's the time I'm supposed to be eligible to apply for N-400 after 2 years 9 months from the date apporved for GC.

    My question is

    1) Can I still apply for N 400 when the time comes?

    2) Has anyone got approved by doing this like my case? If so, please tell me how.

    Thanks

  7. Hi, everyone.

I have applied my I-751 to TSC. I have received so far NOA w/ 1 yr extention and bio taken. USCIS have update my case that tehy transfered my case to VSC. It was after my bio was taken which was Jun 3, 08. They haven't update my case since then. No like "touched".. In addition, I'm aware of trasfering from TSC to VSC sicne I have been reading some of forums from here. So it didn't surprise me at all when they transfered my case to VSC.

    Anyway, my question is ...

1)Has anyone who has his/her case has been transfered from TSC to VSC received GC? I'm affriad that they are delaying those cases that trandered.

2)I am supposed to be eligible to apply for N-400 in 2 years 9 months after my conditional green card was approved. (I'm sure erveryone is aware of it)

If my I-751 is taking long time but is possible to apply my N-400 when the time comes?

I appreciate if I can get some answers from your guys.

    Thanks

  8. Hi, everyone. I received NOA 1 week after I sent I-751 package. And then I received BIO appointment two days after. I went to Bio last Wed. I have been checking USCIS.gov to see if they update my case. So far, they haven't . I want to know when they are going to update my case. Does anyone know?

Also, How long do I wait to hear something from the time I did Bio?

By the way, my package was sent to VCS from TSC. That's what online case said.

  9. So, I called USCIS. I don't know if it was really helping my issue. All they could do was request my issue which was edit my correct address with my apt#. They didn't have access to look up my imfomation even with my A#. They told me that TSC will process my request within 45days. If I don't hear from them till 45 days, then I sould call USCIS again.

I have done something similar to this. At the time was my last name was different . They didn't do anything. In fact I had to fill out the application that's called I-90 to change my last name. I don't think I will count on them.

    1) Do you think going to INFOPASS is better solution to me? I mean, they have accese to look up my infomation.

    2) I'm affriad in the mean time of processing, if BIO letter is sending out to me without apt#, and not be able to receive it. How soon will I expecet to get BIO letter after NOA letter was sent out?

    Thanks

  10. Thanks guys.

But there was reason why I wanted to contact with someone from USCIS. There is my apt# is missing. Luckly I was able to receive it because the postman knew my name. However, I'm worried that I wouldn't get the BOI letter because of missing apt# if the postman is different person or new to our building.

What do you guy think? Should I so change of address?? Or I should wait till hopely get my BIO letter? I don't want to miss the BIO appointment because they would deny my case, right?

  11. Hi, Everyone. I have received NOA letter from TSC with my apt# missing. Anyway, I wanted to talk to someone to find out what to do. So I called 1800 number with my case number. It said my case is not found. So I went on line to put my case number. Same thing happened.

What does this mean? Is it because I just got it yesterday and they haven't update my case in computer? or Is TSC still having problem?

    Thanks.

  12. Hi, everyone. I have sent my application on May 22, 2008. I got certified-return mail on May 29. And the check was cashed on May 28. I have been reading forum since I sent my application.

    1) Is there any problem at TSC? Why is most application that sent to TSC have been transfered to VSC?

    2) If my application would have been transfered to VSC, how would TSC let me know? By NOA? or I have to find out mysefl? (If so, please tell me how)

    Thank you.

    Thank you for the respond.

1)If my application has been transfered to VSC, then do I still get NOA with extented 1 yr GC?

2)What if it takes more than 3 months to get NOA? Because my GC expires Aug 2008, what should I do to stay in this courtry legaly?

Thank you for your advice. I feel better.

    I still have questions.

    1) Can I still get the stamp of I-551 without any NOA or letter from USCIS?

    2) I would take all my document and copies of my application. But is it enough evidence for them to give me stamp?

    3) When should I do it? Before my expiration date which is Aug 2008? or Can I do in July?

    Thanks.

Thank you guys for respoding. I really appreciate.

I just got NOA letter with iyr extedned GC from TSC which was surprised to me. However. my appartment number is missing. Luckly, the mail man kenw my name so I was able to receive it.

    1) Should I let the USCIS know the Apt # is missing? or I should just wait till everything done.(meaning until I receive my 10yr GC)? I dont' want them to get comfused or delay my case just because my apt# is missing.

    Please tell me your opinion.

    Thanks.

  16. Hi, Everyone. I'm about filing the form for I-751 and send it because my CPR is expiers in Aug, 08. I have need some help about Part 5. My husband and I have a 9 months old daughter together. She is U.S. Citizen. There was a space saying "if in USA, give address/immigration status" in one line. It seems there is no enough space to put address/ immigration status. Can I put "Same as parents/U.S.Citizen"? Or Do I have to put address in separate sheet of paper?

Also, Part 1. There is a space to put full middle name. I don't have one. Can I just leave it blank instead of putting "None".?

If anyone can help me with my questions, I would appreciate. Thank you.

Thank you for your respond. I'm still confusing about Part 5. (sorry)

If I put just U.S.Citizen, what about address part? If I put "same as parents/U.S. citizen, would that make USCIS confuse? But I'm worried if I don't put anything on the part, they would delay my case...

By the way, I have been reading forums about TSC where I suppose to send my package. So, basicaly, All the apprications that are sent out to TSC seems like trasfer to VSC. Moreover, there is not going to be NOA letter... That makes me worry to know the timeline of process time.

Anyway, anyone, please tell me what to do with Part 5. Thank you.
