I still waiting for interview date....nvc told me that will on november very sure but not know what is date....

I hope....I will got interview date before my husband's birtday...that 15th november..

The problem for us is that we have a K3 interview date already setup for Oct 29th, so I'm really hoping we get assigned a date and papers make it to Moscow before that date, so we can switch interviews.

So...a question...I can't understand the operator answer.

The NVC says "we schedule interviews for the following month on the 2nd week of the month. We do not guarantee that the interview will be scheduled for the following month, depending upon availability".

Does this mean that if NVC is unable to schedule an interview for November they will keep the papers until 2nd week of Nov to wait and try to schedule them for December? Or will they just schedule for December in October and send the papers to the embassy?

we are the same again because my case was interview of k3 on august in bangkok, thailand but I have problem about uscis just changed about cant use joint-sponsor so that why we took cr1 because still use joint-soponsor and embassy acvise to me about that very good more k3 becasue when I gone to united state so I will gotten greencard, ssn and very save more k3.

I got bad luck but in the real time I got good luck too about cr1.

I got approved yesterday. I just sent a text message to my wife saying we are approved. I have been telling her for the past month that we should be approved tomorrow. I can't wait to hear her reaction.

We're in the same boat as you. Our case was completed on 22nd, and operator told me that they do following month schedules on the second week of the month. WHich means that we have to wait until 2nd week of October to be scheduled and for papers to be mailed out to embassy.

I would like to know about can use joint sponsor for k1, k3 visa for my friend but I confirm him about cant use becasue I just interview on 29th august 2008 that embassy denied my case because about income not enough and cant use joint sponsor so he wants to make sure about this....that I post this topic for him to read and I dont know now about information that change?...

Everything you need to file for AOS is available from the USCIS website, including the instructions & forms for I-864.

Maybe...maybe not.

I'm confused on this one because the OP timeline appears out of date.

If it's for a K-3....the I-864 should go through the embassy....in that case you can just download the form/instructions, fill and send.

If it's for an AOS from a K-3....then it's at USCIS and you can just download the form/instructions, fill and send.

If it's for a CR-1 at NVC...you will need a barcoded cover-sheet from NVC (or create yours with James Shortcuts), then download the form/instructions, fill and send.

I have been trying to update my timeline, but not sure how it works. We did the K3 but my wife did not get her visa because I was below poverty last year and we could use co-sponsor. So now we are doing CR-1. Can we really create our own barcode to send I-864? Or do we have to wait for NVC to send it to us? Thanks

Still waiting for I-864 instruction packet. NVC sent it on 21st of Aug. and still have not received it. However, I received the IV fee bill and have paid the $400 fee. What should I do about I-864? It's been over 2 weeks. Can I just send all the I-864? Thank you in advance.

My wife told me that there has been a change with Co-sponsorship. For all K status, Co-sponsors are eliminated. Is this true? My wife goes to interview on the 13th of August, and the change was approved in July, but the embassy in Thailand just recieved the notice this pas week. Should I be concern about this change? I did not have a steady job last year, but was collecting unemployment, which was less then the poverty level. I started my new job in March, but I don't make enough. However, my income is a little above the poverty level. Please give me any insights. Thank you in advance.

For I 134 affidavit of support it tells me to send a formal letter from my employer, date I open my bank account, total I've deposited in the past year, and total I have in account now. I'm not self employed. Do I need to send my tax transcript, bank statement, and W-2 to my wife to show in her interview? Or are the tax transcripts, bank statement, and W-2's for the I-864 that I do with NVC? Thanks in advance.

If your income alone is sufficient, you may simply leave blank all sections of the form that deal with assets, bank accounts, etc. including any letter from the bank. An employer letter is good if you can get it but current pay stubs will suffice in a pinch. Best practice is three years of tax transcripts whether self employed or not.

If you send transcripts you don't need W2's. Use the I-134 now and basically update and duplicate the effort for the I-864 for AOS later.

K3 doesn't send an I-864 to NVC. CR1 or IR1 do.

Hi, my wife just recieved her 3.5 packet from the overseas consulate, I had a question regarding what forms to send to her. Regarding the I 134 affid of support does she have to send the package along with tax proof twice once now and once to the interview or just take the copies with her to the interview? If someone has already been thru this process can guide me as to what to send exactly it would be greatly appreciated.

Any Notary Public will do. Notaries are commissioned, so it's the Notary's commission that expires.

Your bank or insurance agent probably has a notary. Your work might too. A notary will know their expiration date. Let the Notary deal with that whole section.

Or do they do they just check with what goes in and out of my account? This is one of my biggest downfall. Please give me as much information as possible. Thank You

It's not what is in your bank account that matters. It is your income that matters. If your income is above the 125% limit, then your bank account will not be a problem. Your other assets only matter if your income doesn't meet the requirements.

I started my new job just over 2 months ago. Prior to the new job I was working with my cousin for about 7 months and was getting paid cash. I put money into my bank account everytime I got paid and paid bills. I was collecting unemployment previous to working with my cousin for about 5 months.

I guess my question is, are there any stipulations on how long I have to be employed with the same company for any certain amount of time? Or will it have an effect on my K3 case because I just started a steady paying job? I heard that I need to have a steady job for at least 2 years to do the I134 form for my wife. If so, can I have someone do the sponsor for my wife? Do they have to be my relative or family members? Or can it be her relatives? Thanks
