Hey Everyone! I don't know if this is the correct forum to ask, but I'm an American about to get married to a Canadian in January. I plan on residing with my husband in Canada while we wait for our CR-1 to be processed and once it's approved we will be moving to America. I'll be staying on a visitor record while we wait for it to get completed. I plan on keeping multiple ties to the US (bank account, job, phone plan, etc.) to establish domicile and intent to have ties to America. Is there anything I should know about concerning having my name on a Canadian rental agreement, as me and my husband will be renting while we wait for our CR-1 Visa to complete?
