HEY Im back again, im trying to know info and need help who had same case as mine. I just got here in AZ last Sept. 29, via K1 and K2 for my son. And just got married last November 8. We will going to apply for the AOS but i dont know what exactly the requirements and how much we will pay for the application for me as K1 and for my son as K2.

Anyone can help me, I appreciated any reply. I need to submit the application before December 28 or else my son and i will be deported back to the Phils. Thanks in advance.

We just received letters for biometrics appointments for my husband(K1) and our son (K2). Unfortunately, for the first time in our visa journey, their appointments are for different days. As it is a 1.5 hour trip one-way (as long as the traffic isn't bad), I'm thinking we should maybe try to get them done at the same time.

Would it be worth it to take our son with us to my husband's appt on the off chance they'll process him too? It would mean pulling him out of school, and if they didn't process him and we had to return for his appt, he'd miss two days instead of one.

And what about that scary writing on the appt letter:

IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED.

What if they processed him with my husband and then freaked when he didn't appear for his scheduled appt?

Yeesh. Has anyone had this same issue, and if so, how did you handle it?

I got my visa and my son's visa today exactly 820AM, i was soooooooo happy, finally the waiting is over, I got my visa after 5 days from interview.

Thanks to all VJ memebers who help me to all my quiries and all who prayed for me. From the bottom of my heart please accept my sincere Thanks. See you again during AOS. WE will leave Japan and POE Dallas Texas.

Glory To God, I made it, i passed the interview with Pink slip only at window 32. The CO just asked me 4 or 5 questiona and im done, i cant believe it. I had & 7am appointment, arrived at USEM at 545am, and get inside around 615, and i was done at 830AM, and i got out from the USEM at 9am i got home at 10AM. MY son is with me too, the CO just asked his name, and thats it, were done. Im so happy, very happy , soon i will be at my honey arms .

To all VJ's thank You so much for all the prayers. Now just wait for the visa to be deliver by DELBROS. Im hoping i will have my visa and my son next week.MAny many thanks to all the prayers and help to all my quiries.

My husband and I are soooooooooo happy! :dance:

I arrived at USEM around 6:30AM (my schedule was 7:00). the friendly guard asked for my appointment letter and ID then he asked if i have cellphone, i said "i don't have it", then he said "how about ipod?" i jokingly replied to him "i don't have ipod but i have playstation here with me ", then he just looked at me and smiled.

Everything went smooth and easy (from passing the DS Forms upto finger scanning) til i reached the pre-screening. I thought the pre-screener was nice and friendly caz she started to greet me good morning. She then asked me to hand her the NBI Clearance, Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificate but then she became rude when she saw that the receipts were still attached to the papers. She asked me "why do you have receipts here? are you going to reimburse this papers?" but then i answered her in a nice tone "oh sorry caz i thought it is needed". The second thing she asked for is the Tax Returns (2007) and Affidavit of Support. She asked me on why is it the Tax Returns has only 2 pages. I nicely replied "that is what the IRS sent to my husband but i think the 3rd page you are looking for is at the back of the 2nd page" she looked at the back of the paper and never said anything. I was waiting for her to ask the W2s but she didn't asked for it instead she asked me questions:

1. What is the petitioner's name?

2. What is your name?

3. When was the first time he visit you and until when?

4. When was the last time you saw him?

5. When did you get married?

She wrote all my answers in a paper then after those questions, she asked for pictures and emails. I gave all the pics and emails that i have and then she asked me to go to the waiting area. I thanked her but again she never said anything. when i sit back to the waiting area, I almost burst out from laughing remembering the reimburse thingy lol! I told myself what if i answered her "can i?" lol!

My number flashed on the screen and it says window 32. i was like "Oh my! the famous window 32!! " lol! The CO was a young pretty american girl. She never smiled or even looked at me (nasayang lang ang facepowder at lipstick ko! lol!). She greeted me good morning then asked me to raise my hand and swear that i'll tell the truth blah! blah! She asked me these questions:

1. Where did you meet? ---- We met in Yahoo Literati.

2. What is that? ---- It's a Yahoo game.

3. What's the petitioner's name?

4. What's your name?

5. How old is your husband?

6. What does he do?

7. How old are you when you get married?

She browsed at the emails and pictures that i submitted while asking me those questions. After that, she told me to go back to the waiting area and wait for name to be called. It only took me 2 mins in the CO room i went back in the waiting area wondering if i passed or what caz the CO never said anything. At last my name was called and I was asked to go in window 37. I GOT PINK SLIP ONLY!! WOHOOOOOOOOO! I wanted to shout bec i am so happy but then thank God i was able to stopped myself or else the guard will kick me out of the embassy lol! woohhhoooooooooooo! :dance: i was teary when i got the PINK SLIP caz i know i'll be with my husband very soon!

I wanna thank all the people who helped me. Mina, Nagi, Ivory, Marie, Mariz, te ninfa, ting, te ann, heidi, te zsa, cloe at sa mga sumagot ng mga questions ko. And dami nyo sencya na hindi ko matandaan lahat hehe (wag kayo tampo ha ). I also wanna thank Sheriiff for the helpful guide I met Marjo2008 in the interview, she is friendly and nice. She is also got pink slip! hooray for her!!!

I started my medical last friday with my son with me, but the doctor at the immunization sectio second floor did not do the TST for my son her reason is that the test only for 48 to 72 hours since theres no clinin on monday they move the TST on tuesday and we will be back on thursday for the result. I was tense with the result to my medical coz i had slight cough last friday, hope everything is OK, plus my son has cogh too, i was worried for the test to be given to him. IM asking for your prayer's to me and to my son.

Is anyone will do there medical on Tuesday, hope we can meet there at St. Lukes. I will be around 8am, i want to start early and know the result of my medical if i pass and continue to vaccination.

My interview will be on Sept, 4. 7am.

Buti reply ka sa akin, kita tao sa tuesday pag andun pa kami sa tanghali, morning yung TT ng anak ko at yung sa akin afternoon pa din ang result ko. For vaccine narin ako, tapos balik din kami sa thursday para sa result ng anak ko, sana evrything will be OK, Ill pray for your daughter too, claim it now na negative result x ray nya. Claim ko din everything is doing good to me and my son, SEE You Ate.

Hey Co VJ's,

Im little confused now, our pocket already reached the USEM, and im doing some jobs now like paying the document verification, My only worries now is that im taking my son with me, Do i have to pay document verification for my son. My hubby called the USEM , he tried to call today if he can sched my interview but they saidand we have to wait till our pocket will be in there system although it was already in there we still have to wait. And he ask if i will apy visa fee for my son and they said i have to pay for me and for me son. He forgot to ask for the document verification if i will pay for me and for my son. I already payed for me yesterday.

Anybody have same case with me K1 with dependent. Please help me.

Got our NOA2 last Aug.4, 2008. My hubby text very early in the orning to him and it was 8pm to me. I thought CSC already left our pocket, since we had RFE i thought it will take time it was 10 days from the RFe date then my hubby reply to them immediately , and they touched our pocket almost everyday when they received our responce. AND FINALLY LAST AUGUST4, 2008, we are approved. They journey just begun.

A lot of our aprroval emails came during the evening hours. I am in Ohio, which is Eastern Standard Time and 3 hours ahead of California. My email arrived at 8:35pm (which was 5:35pm in California). So maybe even this evening, you will see the touch change to APPROVAL NOTICE SENT.

I am excited to await your good news soon.

Hi Stevi, thanks for the encouragement, sometimes im loosing hope, but i keep holding on as my hubby always telling me noting will change between me and him, whatevr it take we will be together in Gods time. I do hope my fiancee will tell me when we talk tonight that he have alraedy our NOA2.

Im getting excited now, i cant wait to be with my hubby arms again, i miss him so much, he will be here during my interview untill i will get the visa God well.

I look forward to seeing your post very soon, which will say APPROVAL RECEIVED! (or whatever exciting words you will use). Having gone through this long wait between the NOA's, I have become even more humble and empathetic for all of my VJ sisters and brothers. It is definitely a bonding experience, which bring people together in happiness and tears. It just proves that love does not only come from touching and feelings. I have true cyber-web-friends whom I can actually and truthfully say "I love you" to. They have figuratively "touched and felt" my heart when I really needed it the most.

I extend to you my care and concern. By the Grace of God, your NOA2 is in the hands of the postal delivery person at this very moment - or better, it is already in your fiance's mailbox awaiting his return home.

Hi, again, this time its not good newsits not really bad but its some kind of my hubby told me when we talk this saturday night, He received an RFE from USCIS, and they just need the copy of his first divorced,he was divorced twice and his first wife died after there divorced so he thought it not needed anymore he just put in the pocke the latest divorced he had, but sad to say still the CSC look for it, maybe to delay the process,huh. The CSC touched our pocket last 23rd and after 3 day my hubby received an RFE mail from them to comply the y need. He is going to send it on monday. Hope they will take action ou our pocket as soon they received the documents they need. Hopefully next week i willl post a good news.

Im still positive we will have our NOA2 before the month end or first week of August.I have faith in Him, and i know He will.

I am sorry about the RFE, but I don't think it will delay your approval by much time. I know that every day seems like an eternity right now, but we will look back on this in a few months a have a big sigh of relief over all that we have gone through to get this far.

As for the divorce document from his first wife. Would it not be enough to send a copy of her death certificate? I am a widow myself, but I was not divorced from my late husband. Quite the contrary. But I WILL need to include a certified copy of my late husband's death certificate with the documents that my fiance will take to the interview.

So many people have written about how quickly RFE's such as this one are processed once the needed evidence is returned to them. This is my hope and prayer for you, Angelbelle. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Stevi, thanks for the prayer, an update my hubby already sent the document caused the RFE. He sent it thru feedex for fast delivery to CSC. Hope they will take action on it as soon they will receive the document they need. He just sent the copy of the the divorce coz he dont have the death certificate oh his ex wife. The CSC give him a choice either he will send a death certificate or the divorce decree.

I am still willing to wait, as you said we wait for, months and months already, why not for just a week right. As my hubby always said nothing will change. I miss him very much, i want to be his arms again. I ca nt wait to be with himagain and never be part again. He visisted me twice already, last sept 07 and last march 08 . Its almost 6 months since his latest visit and he was hoping that he will be here and for good be will never be apart. He will be ehre during my interview and we will fly together with my son to the States,Hope to meet you when were already in the States. By the way were in Arizona. What state are you?

I live in Ohio, which is quite far from Arizona. It is on the other side of the country But distance is nothing now that we all know what REAL long distance feels like.

I would love to one day have a reunion of all of us March filers. Wouldn't that be nice. Over on the UK forum, they seem to always plan things like that.

I know how you feel about not being able to wait to have him hold you in his arms. That is such a wonderful thought for me too.

Im getting excited now, i cant wait to be with my hubby arms again, i miss him so much, he will be here during my interview untill i will get the visa God well.

I'm just checking in to say hello and to let you know that I am still sending up many prayers for you and your fiance to receive your NOA2. I look forward to seeing your post very soon, which will say APPROVAL RECEIVED! (or whatever exciting words you will use). Having gone through this long wait between the NOA's, I have become even more humble and empathetic for all of my VJ sisters and brothers. It is definitely a bonding experience, which bring people together in happiness and tears. It just proves that love does not only come from touching and feelings. I have true cyber-web-friends whom I can actually and truthfully say "I love you" to. They have figuratively "touched and felt" my heart when I really needed it the most.

I extend to you my care and concern. By the Grace of God, your NOA2 is in the hands of the postal delivery person at this very moment - or better, it is already in your fiance's mailbox awaiting his return home.

Hi, again, this time its not good newsits not really bad but its some kind of my hubby told me when we talk this saturday night, He received an RFE from USCIS, and they just need the copy of his first divorced,he was divorced twice and his first wife died after there divorced so he thought it not needed anymore he just put in the pocke the latest divorced he had, but sad to say still the CSC look for it, maybe to delay the process,huh. The CSC touched our pocket last 23rd and after 3 day my hubby received an RFE mail from them to comply the y need. He is going to send it on monday. Hope they will take action ou our pocket as soon they received the documents they need. Hopefully next week i willl post a good news.

Im still positive we will have our NOA2 before the month end or first week of August.I have faith in Him, and i know He will.

Hi Caity, im ealry march filers but til now we did not recieve the approval yet ,it was just touched once last july23rd but still nothing change till now. So dont loose hope yours are coming too.

Hi, were march filers too, we got our NOA1 last march 7, we just touched last july 23rd, till now we dont know whats the result, still hoping that we got NOA2 very soon.

Congratulations for your NOA 2, My fiancee and i still waiting for our NOA2. Buit he check UCSIS they touched our case today July 23, its nice to know that from march they finally look over our case.

Hi Angelbelle, and thank you for the congrats. I have a feeling that your touch will result in an NOA2 too! I am praying that you will be posting great news here either this evening or tomorrow. A lot of our aprroval emails came during the evening hours. I am in Ohio, which is Eastern Standard Time and 3 hours ahead of California. My email arrived at 8:35pm (which was 5:35pm in California). So maybe even this evening, you will see the touch change to APPROVAL NOTICE SENT.

I am excited to await your good news soon.

Hi all VJers,

I have filed for my wife's CR-1/IR-1 in first week of march. I have been looking at Delicia's spreadsheet and I see that lot of march and april filers from CSC are getting approved. I have been so depressed/sad/sick about nothing happening to my case that I have stopped coming to VJ. I am writing this after a long break....For people who haven't gotten an approval yet, do you guys see any touches to your file? Have you tried contacting to USCIS about your case delay???

Hi CS, your not alone, we did not receive ours too, we got our Noa 1 last March 6, till now we did not received any even touched by CSC. My fiancee called the USCIS many time already but still nothing, Hope we got our NOA2 this coming week. I miss my Fiancee so much, he just got here last March but i want this distance put an end. And the long wait will end.

I keep my finger crossed that we will get our NOA 2 this month. Im happy to those march fulers whowa salready approved your too lucky guys. Include us in your prayer for who those did not receive the appoval yet.

All we do now is pray and have faith in Him, Maybe He has better plan for us.

Hey Everyone. Again, Good luck to everybody going through this process; it is very difficult and frustrating. I would like to start a topic for those who are march 08 filers who filed through California! So far i have not heard any updates about my case, but some people seem to be very lucky with their cases!

Hi, were march filers too, we got our Noa 1 last march 6, but till now not heard any even touch. Hoping we will have our Noa 2 this July. But from i read all the post here, Feb filers got there Noa 2 last 2 weeks ago of July.
