Good evening. I've been a bit confused about what procedure to follow to legalize my daughter's status. She is currently in the US on a valid non-immigrant visa and is a minor, 17 years old. I am a naturalized citizen. Is it possible to apply for a citizenship certificate for her directly, or do I have to go through the standard process using forms I-130 and I-485 for status adjustment, and then apply for her citizenship certificate later?
