Can I sue myself for using my OWN photos on a public forum?? never heard that one before!!!!too bad they are not copy written or trademark!! damn me for not putting the "PRIVATE" settings on my photobucket account!!

I'm not a last minute person, so I want to make sure I have everything ready for when the day comes!!!....NERVOUS?? hell yeah but I know everything will be okay as long as I can prove to the IO that our marriage is bona fide which it is!!

Thank you!! yeah I was worried I thought I wouldn't get an Interview until the end of the year...that's how long I estimated! but to my suprise I got it before then and Ive been doing alot of research on the background/name check thingy.....not sure how it works but I read on some other forums that people have been approved but been waiting for pending name checks for over two years so hopefully for me they already check mine and get a "clear" before the interview...I'm home sick and my older sister just had her first baby and I wasn't there
I didnt applied for AP because I overstayed way pass the 180 days and was definately subject to the 10 years ban! so I decided to wait hopefully I will see my first neice before she turns 18 lol!! -
I applied for SSN today and I got in my Marriage Name, eventhough my EAD is in Maiden....Im supper happy,now I have to see if the IO will change my name at the interview from Maiden to Marriage....I hope so!!

Happy Saturday!!
Well I checked my mail box and I got my EAD card (job hunting here I come) and also my interview letter for July 31st Im superrr happy as my hubby was telling me he probably won't get deployed until Sept. 1st! soo, maybe he'll be here for the interview. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for that one and praying that he will be here!!

Yes, they will transfer to the appropriate service center, but not necessarily before they approve anything. Many os us have gotten our EAD or AP approvals and still have no transfer notices. Others get transfer notices before approvals..you just never know with USCIS
Don't worry, there are still lots of us who filed before you that are still waiting for notices/emails/touches/etc. Waiting can be frustrating, but at least we are with our spouses through this part...much better than the K-1 route where we were waiting for approvals so we could actually be together! Hopefully we'll all get approvals and cards soon

I've been in America for three weeks now and my fiance and I (i'm french) would like to get married this Mid-June.
I personally would love to have a judge perform the marriage ceremony in a courthouse because it would remind me of the civil ceremonies townhall mayors perform in my homecountry.
Does any of you know if it is possible to get married by a judge in a courthouse in Virginia (especially in Alexandria)? Are there any fees or anything special that I should do? It looks like it is more frequent to have a justice of the peace perform the ceremony in your backyard though.....
What has been your own experience? Should I keep on willing to have a courthouse wedding or should I go for a backyard wedding performed by a justice of the peace?

I had a courthouse wedding in Maryland....we were wed by a Judge!! it's inexpensive and quick and you can invite up to 12 people in ( Elliott City, MD) you can, not sure about other states or counties!! but all I needed to bring to get the license was my passport, husband Birth cert and my birth cert.( he wasn't even there) and 30 bucks and our date was set for a few days later.
we plan to have a church wedding in 2009 and thats when we are gonna go all out!!
In my opinion at this point in this suituation I think a Civil cermony would be a good choice, it's less expensive and then you can save and have the wedding of ur dreams later on!!

After 60 and some odd days of filing I am still not able to see my I130 case status online, whenever I enter the receipt number that I got on the NOA it keep saying this:
Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
*Case Status Retrieval Failed
*This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system.
I told my hubby to call because he is the petitioner but they keep saying dont worry the number is correct!
Have anyone here has the same problem??
