    Thanks appleblossom. There is no delay in my case until now, every step is under my control and processed under reasonable time frame. I chose AOS, but later I changed my mind, that's why I filed I-824 to request DHS USCIS to send my approved petition to DOS NVC for visa processing. I wonder anybody can share their timelines so that I can make a better schedule based on the timeline. I want to know the timeline between the case status of "case was approved" and "case was sent to department of state". My Case is processed at DHS USCIS TSC.

    Thanks JeanneAdil. Yes right, but my case is still stuck in DHS USCIS, and showing the status of "case was approved" not yet arrived in DOS NVC yet, according to my understanding the status of my case should first showing "the case was sent to the department of state" then job of DHS USCIS is completed and should be handled by the DOS NVC which relates to the visa numbers issue you have provided here. My question is when will my case status update to "case was sent to department of state" after "case was approved"? especially if the case was processed at DHS USCIS TSC. Its already around 1 month waiting now? some people say need 4-6 weeks or 4-8 weeks? anyone has the real experiences?

    Hello everyone, I filed I-824 to request USCIS send my approved I-140 to NVC for visa processing, and I received the I-797 approval notice of the I-824 after one year on Aug 15 2025. But my I-140 status is still under "Approved", not yet changed to "the case was sent to DOS" after 1 month waiting. Does anyone know how long does it take for USCIS TSC send/forward my I-140 to NVC DOS. Could you guys share your timelines processed at USCIS TSC? or any advises will be much appreciated.
