  1. Here is a list of what we sent:

3 leases - we moved three times.

3 afidavits- from 2 friends and my husband's mother.

2 joint checking - we only had 1 at a time, but we moved so had to switch banks. The statements were very poor. Not only on the balances but on transactions - this was a concern for my lawyer

2 savings - again because of the move

2 statements from our car insurances. At some point we had 2 cars and they were both on 1 insurance, but we sold one and the second statement only shows me as a driver on the insurance.

A statement from my previous work that my husband is a beneficiary on my life insurance and all their paperwork shows that we are married.

A statement from my 401K showing my husband as a beneficiary.

Copies of our debit and credit cards next to each other.

Copies of our DL, showing the same address.

A massive amount of junk mail showing that we live on the same address. We had some from previous addresses as well.

A phone bill with both names

A gas bill with both names

A personal loan statement with both of our names

Pictures with friends and on our trips.

Copies of stamps in our passports, showing that we went to my home country together.

    This was all.

    Good luck!

    o, and I forgot.......

    CSC totally rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I (L) (L) (L)(L)(L)(L)(L)(L)CSC :P:P:P:P:P

  2. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Just wanted to let everyone know that we received an email saying that the card is ordered.

    My timeline is:

Sent application in Feb 08 to NSC

File transfered to CSC and the official date of receiving - 02/20/08

    Biometrics - 03/13/08

Email confirming card production - 05/24/08

    Also, fyi -

Our package did not include any tax docs (we filed separate)

We do not have kids or property together.

Thank you very much everyone for the support and Good luck to each one of you!

  3. This is crazy. You've essentially said that the marriage is about to end. Why in the world are you applying for conditions to be lifted? Something doesn't seem right here. If the marriage is over then I would imagine you're going to have a hard time trying to explain to USCIS how y'all got married in good faith. There has to be more to the story here and I would hope so as if you have to go before USCIS to have an interview you're not going to have an easy time with this.

    Wow, nice-man!

You are not nice at all!!!!!

  4. Hi all,

Hope you can help me understand the actual meaning of the official processing dates listed on the USCIS website.

    :blink::blink::blink::blink::blink:

What is the chance for them to process application dated after the published dates and if so what range of dates is normal.

Example: My I 751 was received in Feb 2008 .CSC published that on May 15 they were processing applications form Nov 2007. Can I expect any change soon or am I looking into at least another few months of waiting?:blush::blush::blush::blush:

Thank you for taking your time to answer!

  5. Here is my opinion as an accountant on your question:

You can file an amendment to your filing. This most likely is not going to change any amoiunts on the return just the filing status.

If I was you, I'd go back to your accountant and confront him for filing it wrong. I am not sure how important this is to the USCIS, but it can definetely get you in trouble with IRS. But please do not panic! It is a fast and painless thing to do, especially if you go back to your accountant and have him fix his mistake.

On a different note: Does anyone know how important for USCIS is to file "married" rather than "married, filing separately"? My husband and I have been filing separately because it was making more economical sense. He's been also applying for school and we were afraid that my income being higher might jeopordize his financial aid. I did not state this when filing I 751, just skipped sending the tax returns. But now, after reading your forum extensively, I am starting to question my decission at the time.

Your opinion is important to me.

  6. Hi all,

This is the first time I'm posting, but I've been reading the forum for the past week.

My biometrics were on 03.13 and I751 application was last touched on 03.14.

But today I noticed something on my portfolio that made me wonder ........

My I485 was approved on 03.31.06. But my portfolio says that the last time it was touched was on 12.02.07.............. .........what is all this about?????

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you everyone:)
