As for myself.
I’d like to bring my wife(Sudanese) to the U.S. She is currently in Egypt, and I visited her last month. While I was there, I was told that I need to start the application from the U.S., which I didn’t realize at the time. I now understand I should have started the process while I was still there.
My question is: can I submit the application online or by email and then get an appointment date for her, so I can travel there only when necessary? Or do I need to be physically present in Egypt just to start the application?
Also, could you please let me know what documents or paperwork I need to prepare? I’m willing to handle it myself, but someone offered to help for $1,000, which is more than I can afford right now.
