I'm in the final stretch of my k-1 visa journey. I've received my packet 4 from the Montreal consulate and have filled out all the necessary information in order to schedule -my interview. I was all set to schedule, however I can't pay my embassy fees until they open up interview appointment slots - as of right now I get the message "There are no available appointments at this time. Please check back in a few days as the Consular Section will open more appointments."
Was wondering if anyone else has had this same experience, and if they had any insight on how often visa interview slots open up? Furthermore how long will I have to wait until the interview once I am able to get a slot.
I'm trying to be diligent with checking the website but don't want to get locked out of the site for signing on 12 times within 24 hours - something I've heard is a thing.
