My wife will be adjusting pretty soon via I485 and I130 from a F1, and we have the same concern as the announcement is pretty vague. From what I read, some schools will accept a pending I485 as proof of status and potentially change to In-State tuition depending of how long you have been a resident. Please do not take this as a fact.
