How long does it commonly take toprocess and receive our Medicals in Lagos Nigeria? We were notified that the Embassy in Lagos booked our Document Review this coming October 14, 2025. However, we managed to schedule an appointment at the preferred clinic on the 30th of September, leaving only a few days until our Document Review. Is there any hope of obtaining our medicals in time?

I really appreciate your answer. Yes I do have paystubs, tax returns and so forth. What is "pro" that I can submit? Does it matter to submit anything from previous years?, (excluding 2024 which is important). -

K1 Visa Lagos Concerning providing financial evidence for the i-134 form, I have my W2 for 2024 and 2023. On my 2024 W2, I thankfully made over the 125% Poverty Guidelines. However, I did not made enough money on my W2 2023. Because I only worked half that year in 2023. Will this be an issue?

K1 Visa - Lagos DS-160 submitted in Sept 2025 Visa fee not paid yet. My fiance's passport is expiring in May 2026. If we pay the visa fee, can we submit a new DS-160 with the new passport information without paying again? Can we book an appointment without paying the visa fee yet?

Do I need to submit the DS-160 to begin getting a response from the embassy though? The embassy in Lagos doesnt seem to respond to emails, even emails from my fiance. Will submitting DS-160 early cause any confusion or issues? -
K1 Visa in Lagos. Our NVC status is at "READY". We have not submitted our DS-160 yet, when exactly is it best to pay the visa fee? Will the Lagos embassy contact us first?? Should we instead wait for their response, or do we have to first submit the DS-160 to begin receiving a response from the embassy to begin the document review appointment? Please be specific, thank you all

My Nigerian fiance does not have a birth certificate. Would these documents below acceptable in its place for our K1 Visa interview??? She does have these original documents: -Statutory Declaration of Age -Affidavit of Local Government of Origin -Certificate of Identification/Origin

Hello, I been looking for answers everywhere. Our Embassy consulate in Lagos, Nigeria. The NVC as changed our K1 visa status to "READY". Who schedules our interview? Do we simply apply for an interview via the DS-160 online form? If it's the NVC who schedules, how do we get notified?
