  1. Hello everyone, I’m seeking advice on how to properly file the correct motion after a Humanitarian Parole application submitted by my wife was denied by USCIS. The reason for the denial was that they felt there was no urgent humanitarian reason or significant public benefit to justify granting parole at this time. My wife is a Ukrainian national who fled the war and is currently living in the United States with a pending asylum application. She filed the parole request to help us reunite, as I am currently living in Italy under refugee protection. We are now preparing to respond but need help understanding the right next step. Should we file a Motion to Reopen or a Motion to Reconsider? If anyone here has experience with similar cases or can guide us on how to proceed — including what kind of evidence could help show urgent humanitarian need — we would truly appreciate your advice and support. Thank you so much!
