As the title says, I was wondering if getting married shortly before DCF is a red flag and would result in a rejected application? For context, I am american and my girlfriend is from an asian country, but we met and live in sweden. In Sweden there is a concept called “sambo” which in the eyes of the law we are legal partners, we have been together 3 years and we bought an apartment together here.
Now I am anticipating a job offer back in the US and want to explore the DCF route for my girlfriend, but wondering if we get married here in sweden and then file for a green card will that be cause for rejection of her visa application?
