Our K1 application was marked as Ready within the CEAC system and received by the CDJ consultate on June 18, 2025 (5 weeks ago). We received our K1-FTP letter but it did not have any instructions on how to schedule an interview. We have not heard anything back since that point and don't know what to do from here. We created an account in the AIS system, and completed the DS-160 form and it says that our case is not ready for an interview yet but we are unsure what else to do. Can anyone provide some insight as to what the next step is? Will we receive an email from the CDJ consulate with interview appointment instructions? How long does that take?
