  1. No, we met in the U.S. for the first time. We were worried about the fast marriage as well, but we responded to the RFE for the I-130 with evidence of our marriage (by then we had been married almost two years) and it was approved. We both understand that the process can take long, but we were just wondering if there is anything we can do to help move things along with the I-485 (especially since I have citizenship now).
  2. Yes, thanks! I meant USCIS, of course. We met shortly after my husband arrived on a tourist visa and got married 3 months later and filed before his visa expired.
  3. Hi All, I was wondering if you might have advice on our case: We (I, PR at the time, met spouse while he was on tourist visa) filed I-130 and I-485 concurrently on January 20, 2022 (the visa bulletin was current). Our I-130 was approved in July of 2023. Since then, it shows that our case is being actively reviewed. In February 2025, I became a U.S. citizen and we uploaded a copy of my naturalization certificate and a letter informing them of my changed status to our USCIS account. Our inquiry date has been moving steadily back, so we are still within normal processing times (Miami FO). The last time I checked, our inquiry date jumped back from July 2025 to July 2026 and we are kind of losing our minds. Our lawyer tells us we just need to wait. I saw hat we can contact our local representative to check with ICE for us, but some people say that we have to be out of normal processing time for that? Can we upload more evidence to "get someone's attention"? Anything?? Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!
