  1. I assumed because I submitted on 08/28 so they reviewed it altogether with 09/03 submission 🤷‍♂️ They did not ask for name change court order, but I uploaded it anyway to avoid delays, as it should have been provided to match names🤷‍♂️
  2. Sorry, to retract my previous statement. I uploaded my birth certificate under "Civil Documents" on 07/22 with all other documents for my dad. It was ACCEPTED but NVC left a note saying my birth certificate was incomplete on 08/18. I re-scanned and uploaded it right away (on 08/18) to make sure it was in better resolution, etc... However, that one was rejected, with the same review note on 08/28. 3rd attempt: I re-scanned, (even better resolution, and meeting NVC document requirement) to replace the one uploaded on 08/18 since it was rejected. I uploaded it again on 09/03 (with my name change court order attached to birth certificate) and notes for NVC. Today, 09/09, I received an email update from NVC. After logging in to view the message, finding out both documents were ACCEPTED with the same review note I had received previously but both documents (actual upload 08/28 to replace 08/18 document; as well as 09/03 upload). I submitted the same document for my mom's application, it was approved on 08/18 without any issues. Wonder why it keeps getting rejected for my dad's. Well....I did upload it under "AOS" section earlier, since it's under my name.
  3. oh I just submitted my birth certificate under "AOS" section. Hope this works! Thank you!
  4. How do I do that? I uploaded it under "Civil Documents" and there is no option for my name but my dad. When I selected the document type "Petitioner's Birth Certificate" to uploaded, it goes under my dad's name though I am as the petitioner.
  5. I submitted it initially with all Civil Documents, and it was accepted then but with the same review note. So I re-scanned it to make sure all corners/pages are readable. It was accepted, yet with the same review note. Same as the 3rd attempt. 🥲
  6. I did submit another inquiry to NVC. Really doubt if they will actually look into the case for answers. I wish they could review both parents' cases and compare my birth certificate before sending this weird review note. "Please re-submit the correct document under the Petitioner's own name. " I had name change when I become US citizen. I uploaded name change (US) court order as well and left notes with documents uploaded. Not sure if that triggered it. But...why would they accept the document but sending "incomplete" note?
  7. yes, rescanned it for 2nd submission. It was accepted.
  8. Yes, it's crispy clear.
  9. I petitioned for both parents. Under my dad's case, we keep getting this message "Case FE revew note: The birth certificate for Petitioner submitted on 28AUG2025 is incomplete. Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate with all pages submitted. Please re-submit the correct document under the Petitioner's own name. Please use our document finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable document guidelines." while every birth certificate we have uploaded (3 times since initial submission) was accepted after NVC review. I uploaded the same (petitioner) brith certificate for my mother's case with no issue at all. I submitted Ask NVC Form, only received confirmation email and "The documents you submitted will be reviewed soon" email, no actual response from NVC. Has anyone experienced the issue? How did you get it resolved? Thank you.
  10. I received this "Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified" email. Does it mean I still need to submit I-864A prior to / at interview? Thank you.
  11. Thank you. Regardless other civil documents, do I need to submit I-864A before DQ?
  12. Yes, it is but it's our joint return.
  13. AGI is over $100k, even without my spouse's W-2 income, its still sitting over the I-864P guideline.
  14. Yes, self-employed. Over $100k on Schedule K-1 showing payout to myself, household of 2, and sponsoring both parents.
  15. I received an update from NVC for both my parent's applications. For my dad's: Case FE Review note: The birth certificate for Petitioner on submitted on 22July is incomplete. Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate with all pages submitted. Please re-submit the correct document under the Petitioner's own name. However, my Birth Certificate WAS ACCEPTED under Civic Documents Tab. For my mom: Petitioner Birth Certificate: Part of this document is missing or is difficult to read. Please replace this with a scan that shows the complete text of the document. 😬 I uploaded the same document as my birth certificate for my dad, which was accepted with note above. Case FE Review note: The income reported as stated on formI-864, is insufficient to overcome the public charge grounds of inadmissibility for visa issuance. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview. I uploaded my tax transcript with 1040 Tax Return, Schedule K with Business Tax Return (reflecting sufficient income to cover my household plus parents). Has anyone experienced this? All I-864 documents were accepted. No note under my dad's file but insufficient income note under mom's. Petitioner Birth Certificate (stating both parents names) was accepted for my dad but not mom?
