I just received my IL on 07/18/08! I am so excited! My interview is scheduled on 09/09 in Portland, OR. It is set-up for 8am so, if everything goes well (I am keeping my fingers crossed), I hope to take the oath the same day as so many on this board did. I will let you know how it goes. I am so happy for all of you who have already passed. Congrats!

My interview was succesful as well. Sorry it took me so long but for anyone going to the Portland, OR office for their interview, know that they are super nice and when you do have your interview early, you can have the oath the same day.
That is what happened to me and I asked for my passport right when I left the office. I received my passport by mail about 10 days later and I went to the Social Security office 2 weeks later to update my profile.
I am official now and I am glad the process is over.
The icing on the cake for me was that I was able to vote as well!
Good luck to all of you out there seeking the citizenship!
