Ryan and Chantal !!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am happy that everything is fine. Yes I agree that our support group is the best, it was very helpful while all of us were waiting for good news from USCIS.

I passed my interview last week as well. I have received visa by DHL today. I can't wait to get done with work here and get ready for my trip. I am flying to Jack on February 8th.

As I write this, Chantal is sitting here right next to me! The interview went fine, she waited to get her Visa the next day, and I picked her up in Vermont the day after. We drove all the way from Vermont to Ohio to visit family, and arrived here in Lynchburg last night.

Couldnt have done any of this without all of your help, and just want to say thank you, and how great it was to have this support group during all of the very hard times.

We're both on cloud 9, and hope all of you are as well!!!!

Man, so many things to figure out now that all of this uncertainty is over........but at least it's things to figure out with a huge smile on your face!

I called and mine still isn't scheduled.....So I'm pretty upset right now...No Christmas or valentine's day I for us...

aww that sucks. i know it's not much but at least now you'll have a better idea of how long you'll have to wait. remember that once the long wait is over you'll have the rest of your lives together. the same goes for you RyanandChantal08

Jenni......Christmas is out. So you don't need to talk about that one anymore. His interview might have been scheduled like that for a reason, and yours might not have been scheduled like that for a reason. It might be time to go see a doctor and get some good medication. I'm doing the same.

Go easy on the gloom and doom until we all know, sweetheart.

Thanks hun, waiting sucks..I just hope it's not later than January - both our birthdays are that month and it would be heartbreaking not to have news for at least one of them after not being together for Christmas.

Same here...no news. But our hell is pretty much over, I hope. Have seen eachother 4 days since July, but I'm leaving on Friday to spend 9 days in Canada, and then I'll turn around and spend 10 days over Christmas. If we don't have an interview date by then, I'll just give up and illegally defect.

Kirk, looks like I'm missing you guys by couple days, lol. I'll probably go to Kiev on the 4th. My medical is the 5th . Just scheduled it. I still don't know the date for my move, as have to take care of some stuff here in Ukraine. Hopefully not long after the interview, though.

Nat, you can only track the case that was sent to the embassy. Generally when u call NVC they do let you know. So try next week for sure.

Congratulations to all of you that have been approved or received your Interview date recently. I havent been on here much lately. I've just hit a wall emotionally. It's like I was the strong one through all of this for the first 4-5 months, and then about 2 weeks ago I just ran out of gas. Having a hard time staying positive, and I am so freaking sick of the uncertainty part of all of this. Hopefully that will be coming to an end with an interview date in the next couple weeks.

Anyway.....glad to read about all of you and that things are moving along well for you.

I'll try to check-in when I can, but it's hard to type when your thumbs are up your a$$ waiting on the one ya love.

Making my first trip to Montreal this weekend to see Chantal since late July. It's just hard to understand how rough it is to go that long without seeing someone that you dont want to live a day without unless you've actually had to do it. I know all of you can relate.

Plus, my computer has gone through so much porn in the past 2 months that it has gone blind.
