Bouken's Achievements

  1. I am sponsoring my wife's AoS (filed 6 months ago with I-864 submitted) and I recently left my job to pursue starting a new business, which means it'll take a while to re-establish my income, and I am eligible for Washington's Medicaid while without income (based on discussing with the reps from the WA health exchange). As the queue is 18 months long, I expect when the interview is scheduled, either my business is able to generate income, or I will have a new job. Even without income, I have enough savings/assets to meet USCIS's financial requirements, so I am not concerned there, but want to confirm the following: when do I need to re-file I-864? i.e. will USCIS ask for update at the interview scheduling time, or do I need to keep updating USCIS whenever my income situation change (which seems unlikely)? would taking advantage of Washington's Medicaid (just me - my wife isn't eligible) cause concerns for USCIS to think I might have issues meeting my financial obligation? More than likely I will no longer be on it when the interview schedule time comes, but want to check if USCIS will be concerned about job/health plan history while in queue Thank you very much for the advice.
