    Hi! I've gone through the N-400 process, and overall, it’s very manageable. The test sounds intimidating, but it’s based on 100 fixed civics questions, and you only need 6 out of 10 correct.

    Do you happen to know if USCIS processing times for N-400 cases filed around that period have been trending faster or slower lately?

    You are safe to file your N-400 now — USCIS allows it. Just make sure you do not file earlier than that 90-day window.
