Hi guys!
Once again congratulation to everyone with approvals!
As for us... Today we received the letter from USCIS (via snail mail) that our interview will be held on October 13, 2011 at 10:30 am in NYC field office. Finally some movement!
Did anyone have interview at the Federal Plaza in NYC? I just wanted to get heads up on the environment of the office and what to expect

CGOlivas,
the waiting list is very helpful. Thank a lot for doing such a wonderful job keeping us informed!

Hi guys,
Congratulations to all of you with approvals!
Just stopped by to let you know that nothing has happened since my husband got his EAD/AP combo card in May. There is no movement on our AOS application. Last touch was on April 19, 2011. So we are just waiting patiently...
Wishing all of us faster approvals

Hi guys,
Just to give an update: today we received my husband's EAD/AP combo card! Hurray!
Hey everyone....just a quick update to add to the list. It looks like we just got to the end of our journey faster than we thought we would. Three weeks ago Natasha found out her case was transferred to California. So we were just waiting patiently for our interview date. Today the mailbox was most kind Went to check it and low and behold was a notice for us telling Natasha she had been approved for permanent residence and to expect the greencard in three weeks.... . But it got better, right under that was her green card and the nice letter telling her welcome to the United States. And no interview was needed. I really dont know how we got so lucky but all is done now. It really is a relief after over two years of writing, calling, meeting and getting married. Good luck to the rest of you and I hope our good luck will help ya'll feel better about your process.
Mark and Natasha
Congratulations! :thumbs:The waiting game is over for you!

Hi guys!
I know it's been a while since I last visited this site. Hope you are all doing great. Just to give you a quick update:
my husband's Bio Appointment went very well on 4/15/11. We also received RFE for yet another certified copy of his Birth Certificate, which we sent back to NVC on 4/16/11 and they received it on 4/19/11.
Today I received 2 SMS and 2 E-mails. One was saying that his EAD card has been ordered to print and another one said that the letter was mailed regarding his AP application.
So, I guess, we just wait and see when we receive the card and the letter. And we will be impatiently awaiting our interview for the GC sometime in the near future.

Just to update: today we received a letter in the mail with the Biometrics Appointment scheduled for April 15 at 11:00 am. The letter is dated March 31, 2011.
Also, just about an hour ago I received SMS and e-mail saying that on April 1, 2011 they mailed us a request for evidence for our I-485. If anything, I think this is because of my request to correct the A# on I-485. Well, let's see when it arrives. I just hope it will not mess up with our Bio Appointment.

Hi dbarker2,
I have been trying to maintain a list of march filers so everyone in this thread can see were we stand.
The first group of members refers to those who have filed with their respective date of when the package was send and when it arrived.
The second group refers to members who have received and official "Notice of Action" (NOA) stating that their package has been received.
The third group refers to members who have received appointment letters for their finger prints (BioMetrics).
Each section has a different color with its corresponding date.
Hope that helps you to know how long immigration is taking. As you can see there is still a lot of us in the first group, in which we are still waiting for official notification.
Thanks! You are doing great job!

Congratulations to both of you!

Hi guys!
Welcome to all new members of our thread!
Yesterday we received hard copies with NOA1 for all our forms/applications filed. I was able to see information for all the applications (EAD/AD/AOS) on-line. All of them are in Initial Review stage, of course.
However, I noticed that my husband's A# on I-797C form for I-485 is completely wrong. Called USCIS this morning and the nice guy on the phone took all the information, submitted Request for Service, and said it should not be a problem. I definately hope so.
Anyway, i guess it's nice to see any kind of movement on the case.

Hi guys!
Looks like we are going to join you here in this thread. We are also March filers. Sent out the package on March 17, 2011. It was received by Chicago Lockbox on March 21,2011. Both checks were cashed yesterday.
I guess, it's now the beginning of the waiting game. Good luck to all of us.

NYC Tiger, If you write to the embassy make sure you include your fiancee's name and the case number from NVC in your email. They prefer to answer to specific cases. It can take as long as a week for them to respond so don't be too concerned if it takes a couple of days. Also, keep in mind the embassy closes for normal business on both American and Ukrainian holidays.
Best of luck with your remaining tasks until she arrives. We just finished getting my wife's permanent green card (the 10 year one). It was approved yesterday, September 16th.
Thank you 1HappyGuy! Firs of all congratulations on getting your wife's green card! One more step for you - citizenship.
I sent e-mail to the embassy a couple of days ago, just like you say - with case number and my fiance's (my fiance is HE, not SHE ) name included. Still waiting for them to respond. I am still being patient. OK, not very patient.
I wonder: between American and Ukrainian holidays - what's left?
Thanks again and best wishes to you and your wife! And maybe I will ask you a few more questions down the road. OK?

Congrats to NYC tiger for NOA2 approval . I wonder if we all can transfer to Vermont, who's surprisingly still able to process "June" I-129f's in 90 days.
Thank you Six-Twelve! I wish you speedy approval! It's coming for you soon!

Go to the embassy website for US embassy in Kiev and find the email for it then write them, they will answer you rather quickly, more so than trying to call them on phone.Hello guys!
We just recently had our I-129F approved. According to NVC, our case was sent to Kyiv Embassy. Could you please help me finding the Embassy's e-mail address so I can contact them to find out if the case was received. I tried to search the thread, but did not find anything.
Thanks in advance to everyone!
Thank you so much zqt3344!

Vicky, one way or another, we will have our chance to meet right here, in New York!
Kim, good luck at the interview! I'll have my fingers crossed for you and Russ!
-
Vicky, congratulations on the next move on your case!
Kim, thank you soo much for your help! You are such a sweetheart.

Hey Tiger...
I think you're package just reached Kiev
here's your tracking number.... 9451001965 so you can just track it with that but what i did was put EXP 10 SEP 2008A... then shipment range from 9/11 - 9/12
DHL can be tricky and the EXP date is usually the day before they actually tell you they shipped it. So I put in EXP 10 SEP 2008... and a range of 9/11 - 9/12... and viola! Congratulations.
Thanks Kim! However they told me that they just received our case on 9/10/08. Could it be the reference date also?
-
OK guys, this morning I called NVC and received our KEV Case number. Also, I was told that our case was sent to the Kyiv Embassy on September 12. I tried to check DHL tracking, however it's not shown yet. I'll try again around non.

Congratulations to everybody who got approved lately!!
I have just recently joined this forum but some of you refered to 'Igore's list'! What is that and where do I find it??
Hello and welcome to VJ!
You can find Igor's list here Igor's list VSC But be careful - it's addictive!

Thank you soooo much!!!!! I am already impatient, even more than before
Me too. I know that we have to wait just a little bit more, but my impatience grows by the minute...

BTW, the USCIS website still says "On March 22, 2011 we received...." and no indication of the interview letter being sent.
