  1. Hi guys,

Just to give an update: today we received my husband's EAD/AP combo card! Hurray!

Hey everyone....just a quick update to add to the list. It looks like we just got to the end of our journey faster than we thought we would. Three weeks ago Natasha found out her case was transferred to California. So we were just waiting patiently for our interview date. Today the mailbox was most kind :) Went to check it and low and behold was a notice for us telling Natasha she had been approved for permanent residence and to expect the greencard in three weeks....   . But it got better, right under that was her green card and the nice letter telling her welcome to the United States. :wow: And no interview was needed. I really dont know how we got so lucky but all is done now. It really is a relief after over two years of writing, calling, meeting and getting married. Good luck to the rest of you and I hope our good luck will help ya'll feel better about your process.

    Mark and Natasha

Congratulations! :thumbs:The waiting game is over for you! :)

  2. Hi guys!

I know it's been a while since I last visited this site. Hope you are all doing great. Just to give you a quick update:

my husband's Bio Appointment went very well on 4/15/11. We also received RFE for yet another certified copy of his Birth Certificate, which we sent back to NVC on 4/16/11 and they received it on 4/19/11.

Today I received 2 SMS and 2 E-mails. One was saying that his EAD card has been ordered to print and another one said that the letter was mailed regarding his AP application.

So, I guess, we just wait and see when we receive the card and the letter. And we will be impatiently awaiting our interview for the GC sometime in the near future.

  3. Just to update: today we received a letter in the mail with the Biometrics Appointment scheduled for April 15 at 11:00 am. The letter is dated March 31, 2011.

Also, just about an hour ago I received SMS and e-mail saying that on April 1, 2011 they mailed us a request for evidence for our I-485. If anything, I think this is because of my request to correct the A# on I-485. Well, let's see when it arrives. I just hope it will not mess up with our Bio Appointment.

  4. Hi dbarker2,

I have been trying to maintain a list of march filers so everyone in this thread can see were we stand.

The first group of members refers to those who have filed with their respective date of when the package was send and when it arrived.

The second group refers to members who have received and official "Notice of Action" (NOA) stating that their package has been received.

The third group refers to members who have received appointment letters for their finger prints (BioMetrics).

Each section has a different color with its corresponding date.

Hope that helps you to know how long immigration is taking. As you can see there is still a lot of us in the first group, in which we are still waiting for official notification.

Thanks! You are doing great job!

  5. Hi guys!

Welcome to all new members of our thread!

Yesterday we received hard copies with NOA1 for all our forms/applications filed. I was able to see information for all the applications (EAD/AD/AOS) on-line. All of them are in Initial Review stage, of course.

However, I noticed that my husband's A# on I-797C form for I-485 is completely wrong. :bonk: Called USCIS this morning and the nice guy on the phone took all the information, submitted Request for Service, and said it should not be a problem. I definately hope so. :innocent:

Anyway, i guess it's nice to see any kind of movement on the case.

  6. NYC Tiger, If you write to the embassy make sure you include your fiancee's name and the case number from NVC in your email. They prefer to answer to specific cases. It can take as long as a week for them to respond so don't be too concerned if it takes a couple of days. Also, keep in mind the embassy closes for normal business on both American and Ukrainian holidays.

Best of luck with your remaining tasks until she arrives. We just finished getting my wife's permanent green card (the 10 year one). It was approved yesterday, September 16th.

Thank you 1HappyGuy! :star: Firs of all congratulations on getting your wife's green card! One more step for you - citizenship.:star:

I sent e-mail to the embassy a couple of days ago, just like you say - with case number and my fiance's (my fiance is HE, not SHE :D ) name included. Still waiting for them to respond. I am still being patient. OK, not very patient. :bonk:

I wonder: between American and Ukrainian holidays - what's left?

Thanks again and best wishes to you and your wife! :star: And maybe I will ask you a few more questions down the road. OK?

  7. Go to the embassy website for US embassy in Kiev and find the email for it then write them, they will answer you rather quickly, more so than trying to call them on phone.

    Hello guys!

We just recently had our I-129F approved. According to NVC, our case was sent to Kyiv Embassy. Could you please help me finding the Embassy's e-mail address so I can contact them to find out if the case was received. I tried to search the thread, but did not find anything.

Thanks in advance to everyone! :star:

    Thank you so much zqt3344!

  10. Hey Tiger...

I think you're package just reached Kiev ;)

here's your tracking number.... 9451001965 so you can just track it with that but what i did was put EXP 10 SEP 2008A... then shipment range from 9/11 - 9/12

DHL can be tricky and the EXP date is usually the day before they actually tell you they shipped it. So I put in EXP 10 SEP 2008... and a range of 9/11 - 9/12... and viola! Congratulations.

Thanks Kim! :star: However they told me that they just received our case on 9/10/08. Could it be the reference date also?
