I'm writing to seek some clarification regarding my daughter's Green Card reapplication process. I received my Green Card in September 2021, and my daughter was 12 years old at that time, as she was born in January 2009. I recently learned that when she turns 14, I need to reapply for her Green Card and fill out the I-90 form. A friend informed me about this requirement, and I have since completed and submitted the I-90 form but my daughter is 16 as of now so I am late by 2 years
However, I made an one more error while selecting the category on the I-90 form. I chose the category indicating "over 14 years," but later after submission I realized that there is a specific category for "14 years plus 30 days." Despite this mistake, I have received a biometric appointment based on the incorrect category.
I am concerned about whether this will create any issues with USCIS. Will they issue a Request for Information (RFI) that will allow me to correct the category and pay the appropriate fee? I would appreciate any guidance or advice you can provide on this matter.
