thANKS god! I just got my EAD card in the mail today after 49days of filing.
-
Still nothing heard yet....
I sent my package at USPS priority mail too last april 20, they received it April 24. then I get my NOA for my AOS April 27 (I didnt get my NOA for my EAD cuz of my stupidity wrong address I put in. I just received my Biometrics for AOS and EAD today. I think yours will be on the mail soon dont worry if you didnt make same mistake as I did. I sucked!
At least it didn't get rejected and sent back to you.
Of course not. They accepted it and give me noa's for both of my applications. Its just that I put wrong address on it, its not that I lacked some documents on it or something. I already change my address so hopefully things will be ok.

I just got my biometrics appointment too on May 20. Thanks GOD!. But sadly to say, I just found out today I was so stupid I put the wrong address in my EAD thats why now I know I only received my AOS notice of action. I already change my address online but still praying and hoping I wont mess up my EAD application because of my stupidity/ clumsiness. GEEZ! Hope I USCIS will send me another NOA for my EAD. This really bothers me now.

You should get a NOA for every form you filed. Did you send it in the packet together?
Yes I did send the packet last april 20 then I just get notice of action for i-485 but never recieved notice of action for ead. Well, maybe I just gonna wait for few days I just get my notice of action of i-485 last thursday. Maybe the other letter will be coming up soon in my mail. I Hope so now Im kinda worried. Did you really get all your notice of action on the same day on the mail? or on following days? THANKS!

just try to be creative.. anyways, they will only look at it for like a minute or two..

Hello everyone! I filed my AOS and EAD late of this month. I already recieved reciept notice/Notice of action but just for the AOS. My question is do I get notice of action for EAD separately too? Im just confuse. Thanks!

Usually its takes a while for your mom to get the letter maybe 20days to a month. The US embassy will send her a letter for her appointment. So, chill out!

Hi everyone!
Honestly, I really dont know where to start my question. Maybe I need to explain my side and what happened to me after I arrived the state. I came here with K1 visa last July 15,2008. We got married Oct. 4, 2008 then later we found out Im pregnant. So we went on Women's and childrens hospital with no appointment at all to get a doctor. But before that interviewed me and they gave me papers and forms to be filled up and I did filled it up. She (financial adviser) asked me if I have insurance here and I told her "no, I have'nt cuz I just arrived here and I didnt filed my AOS yet" then she said dont worry we will help you. My husband only earning barely $34k annualy, since Im consider 2 plus my husband in our household which is were qualify to get the temporary public assistance. His earning is good enough for us right now but since were saving for the AOS fee were really having a hard time paying for my health insurance. The Social Service helped me cope up with this issues and Im recieving a health benefits from and were doing fine.
But when I filled up the form of i-485, part 3, it says:
2.)Have you received public assistance in the United States from any source, including the U.S.Government or any State, county, city, or municipality (other than emergency medical treatment), or are you likely to receive public assistance in the
future?
-which is big YES. I dont want to lie from them because I really did. I dont know if it consider emergency assistance. I know its temporary assistance because it expires May 31, 2009. And I dont want to be a public burden no more, as soon as I can have my work permit I really want to work I want to get off from public assistance.
My question is DOES USCIS WILL NOT HONOR ME TO GET WORKING PERMIT, AND GREEN CARD BECAUSE I RECIEVED PUBLIC ASSISTANCE? OR WILL THEY DEPORT ME FOR THIS? which I really hope not.
I would appreciate your opinion and help. And thanks for reading this post.

I dont think so. In our case were the one who just worked on the papers with no attorneys help. I got approved right away. It depends on how you work in your papers and you meet their guidelines. And hiring lawyers is a ripped off when you can saved the money and used it for something else. I got a friend too who hired lawyer for their case but it took so long for them to get the visa, till now they didnt know whats happening. So hiring an attorney or not is not really the basis of getting approved on the petition and visa its depend on you.

im sorry for your lose. It makes me sad reading this post too, my heart cries out for u. I know it isnt easy but I hope someday you can move on.
-
Im sorry to hear that. It sucks! shes a user!! Just dont marry her and eventually she has no reason to stay but go back home, if she over stay then later on she might be banned from coming here. Im filipina too but im in love with my husband and I never would ever used him for my personal interest nor hurt him. I got lucky he is my husband. Just move on and get back on your normal life.
-
no they wont... they will give you an appointment. It doesnt matter honestly. Just pray and have faith. Goodluck again!

As for you charles, you just confirmed what Filipina haters have been saying all this time that Filipinas are the center of VJ universe.
ya'll can think that if you wish. i'm also in mena, sub-sahara, canada, the "divorce forum" and the k-1 visa forum in addition to this one.
don't pat yourself on the back too much, you might get carpal tunnel.

May sarili tayong kultura at pinaglakhan.

We are in the same boat. My fiance called the manila embassy call center and was told that she could not schedule until she received the appointment letter. I believe she called the same day as you did. I received the letter from the NVC saying they will send my petition to the embassy and I also received my MNL case number.
It seems like we are behind everyone else as far as the whole process goes.
So, should I have her call again? Should we wait for the appointment letter?
Thanks,
-Tyson
Yeah, you should wait for the appointment letter from us embassy. But some of the K1 beneficiary didnt recieved their appointment letter from US Embassy. It only takes like 20days after the NVC sent your fiance a letter for your case. Some were a month. Sometimes they wont get you a appointment date and medical date if you wont recieved this. Just wait for a little while. I know its kinda frustrating but this is how it is. I hope you get your letter so soon. Goodluck and have faith in God

Hi there!
I did the same way that you do. But you know what for a very small mistakes it takes us like 2 months delayed to resubmit our papers again. The signature should be original. If I were you send it in the snail mail it will only takes like a week or so for him to get your mail. If your fiancee or spouse already send the documents they will send back to you the document and they will asked for a real signature from you. Fill up another g325-a and send him thru snail mail as soon as you can. I hope I help you with this, I know its very confusing. Goodluck!

Hi there!
Hope this helps.. Based on my experienced they really always tells you that call them back after two weeks for them to review the papers but I call them back like 5days after and they give me an appointment. It usually happens, for you to stop wondering call them back and they will for sure set you for an appointment and medical interview. Goodluck!

I came here last July with K1 visa and got married. We planned to filed my AOS, EAD and SSN but then we found out that Im 8 weeks pregnant. My concern is that how can I filed all these things that I know I should get a vaccination form to complete all this paperworks. Im totally confused right now dont know what to do.
I dont want to wait for few months to filed it till I give birth its way too long. Is there any way I can file or get a waiver for my vaccination? and just complete vaccination after I give birth? I need some advice...
I would truly appreciate your advice and insights for this. thank you so much!

Best bet, stay here and get a good lawyer. There are enough extenuating circumstances that you should get a waiver. Once you leave the US, then the clock starts again. Besides, since it often takes years to adjudicate these cases, time is on your side. Just stay out of trouble, and don't give them a reason to deport her. Of course, she can not leave the country without some form of advance parole.
What kind of waiver? and what would be the extenuating circumstances?
My husband tells me of a Japanese gal, whose husband abused her. She ended up with a green card, a new house, and half his assets.
Well, I believed that the guy marry her thats why she ended up getting half of his assets, greencard and a new house. this case is way much different to this case that the guy having troubled about. It would be wise if they will talk to immigration lawyer to consult the case I know they have some advice for these.

Youre POE will be in Detroit where you will submit your brown envelop. Anyways, in medical I dont think they will going to ask you whats youre port of entry. The embassy dont want you to get a flight before you get youre visa this is a big no no for them. Sometimes it takes like a month for you to get ur visa so just for sure dont get your flight yet till the visa is in your hand. Goodluck!
-
Hi there! Once the USCIS will send you a NOA2 the USCIS will forward your papers to NVC. Then a week-4 weeks its the latest..you will recieved a letter from them stating you have a case number. maybe it takes a month or 2 for the interview and medical. Hope this helps. Your welcome!

All of us went through the waiting stage with all those frustrations and all. We can do anything to make it faster though. So I must say patience is a virtue. Its all worth the wait! Just enjoy what you have now, your family and philippines. I'll tell you when you arrived here (I mean U.S) you definitely miss all the things you used to. So enjoy all things there. Goodluck! You can hear a good news soon darling..
