It was a screenshot of a response from KCC with interview details. I'm pretty sure that people stuck in NRB who saw this photo sent a flurry of emails to KCC asking if they got scheduled too. If anyone else confirms it that I'll let you know. -
Just saw one unconfirmed report that NRB has scheduled interview for July. I hope you'll make the cut! Note: ESC page is not working properly (since mid-May AFAIR) and 2NLs are not being sent properly either by KCC. You need to monitor your case status using https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV . If your status changes to anything other than "At NVC", contact KCC asking them about your appointment details. They should respond within few days.

Kinshasa is closed since January 2025 (https://cd.usembassy.gov/security-alert-increased-violence-in-kinshasa/), Kigali hasn't scheduled DV interview since March. TBH there aren't many great picks in AF region. ALG, CRO, MRV, YDE maybe. You'd need to look farther than that.

Naroibi scheduled DV interviews only once this fiscal year (December'24). They haven't done anything since. Since you are current, KCC won't let you transfer easily. Typically they're gonna respond that your case is ready for scheduling and refuse to do anything about. However, there are scarce reports that if you're able to find an embassy that would be willing to take your case, and forward that correspondence to KCC, you can escape being stuck in NRB's AV queue.
