  1. In my case my husband (petitioner ) made 40k this tax return 2024, and also in 2022, but he did not meet the threshold in 2023 tax return. So we have to find a joint sponsor for I-485, and I-765. If we filed I-485, and I-765 together, will i765 generally be considered after I-485 or before? Just want to be sure again, what number from the 1040 that can be used to calculate the 125% of HHS Poverty Guidelines* ? We will not use assets to claim for our cases it will be too complicated. We recently found 2 friends who are willing to sponsor us: Friend A (Permanent green card holder for the past 20+) . A is renting his basement to us, we actually used the lease contract as one of the proof of marriage (share same address). A also resides in the house. He claims 1 dependent - his mom, who has a retirement income. A made around 40k a year. Roughly 8 years ago, A has already sponsored his brother and his brother's sons (minors at the time). These 3 are currently in the US and are a green card holder only, still a few years away from being able to apply for US citizenship What will be A's household numbers? Again, he claims 1 dependent, sponsoring still 3 other individuals (1 case), and is our landlord. A has tax transcript + W2 + 1099 What would be required to submit for the dependent of the joint sponsor? The dependent receives social security payment And our 2nd option : Our friend B (US citizen) He is married but does not file tax jointly with his wife. He claims 1 dependent, his son - 5 years old. B only has tax transcript + W2. No 1099 What would be required to submit for the dependent of the joint sponsor ? Since he filed separately from his wife, do we need to submit anything from her?
