When you add a Joint Sponsor to your account on Ceac it makes you add the proof of citizenship which we did back in April of this year. But just to be safe Im going upload both passports for main and joint sponsor.

Main Sponsor I used 2024 Tax Returns with W2s. Plus the I864. Joint Sponsor I used 3 years of tax transcripts and I864. The new documents Im sending is Main Sponsor New I864 Tax Transcript 2024 (They only asked for 2024 on the 221G) W2s 2024 2 Proof of US Domicile Joint Sponsor New I864 Tax Transcript 2024 W2 2024 2 Proof of US domicile

Is that why they are asking for W2 now? Because they think they may not be eligible? The joint sponsor is my brother and petitioner brother in law and made about 75k for a household size of 1 plus the immigrant of course. US citizen living in US with no sponsor history.

We brought all the Financial documents to the interview minus proof of US residency and W2 for Joint Sponsor. But they didnt ask for them. They just gave the white 221g. And im wondering why we need to resubmit a new I864 on ceac?

Hello! Today was my mothers in law interview for an IR5 Visa based on my wifes citizenship. Unfortunately we got a 221g. We also have a Joint Sponsor who is a US citizen who makes the income by a fair margin. They said they need us to submit another I864. The latest tax transcript as well. The thing is we already had submitted those back in April to Ceac when doing documents qualify. They want them again for some reason and the 221g just said for sponsor it did not specify Joint Sponsor or Petitioner Sponsor. They are also asking for some new documents like proof of US domicile and W2 for 2024. ( which is thought W2 is only needed without tax transcript) Any reason they would be asking for the I864 again. It was dated 8 months ago so I was wondering if thats the reason.

I had a question regarding document check in before the interview for El Salvador for IR-5 Visa for my mother in law. On thetravel.state.gov website it says you do not need to submit or bring financial support documents to the interview in bold letters but I see a checklist online that says you do. I am not sure if I still have the orignal I-864 we submitted to NVC and I cant download it on Ceac. I called the embassy and they did not know either.

Hi we are submitting all the documents for my mother in laws IR5 Visa. All the information and translations are correct but theres a statement saying the translators information on each civil document but the statement says spanish to english birth certificate for each document even the ones that are not birth certificates like the police one. Is that an issue or can we still submit? All docs are original with correct translations and statements.
