  1. Thank you, hopefully when I inquire again next week I'll get a clearer answer!
  2. I did attach my scanned NOA2 to the inquiry and it has been 80 days since my NOA2, 14 days at the time of sending an inquiry after the status was updated to "Sent to DOS". I'm hoping it's just taking a while and not that it's lost somewhere! I'll send in another inquiry next week and see if there's been any movement
  3. Hello everyone, I sent in an inquiry (PI) to NVC yesterday asking for our case number. Our NOA2 was December 4th and we got sent to DOS on February 5th. Since it has been 2 weeks I was advised to ask for the case number on February 20th and I figured worst case they would say that our data is awaiting entry. NVC emailed me back almost immediately telling me that they have not received it. It's been over 2 weeks and they're saying they don't even have it? Not that they haven't touched it yet - they've never received it? I'm seeing online of other people who have been sent to DOS on the same date as our petition and they already have their case numbers. Is this normal? Thanks all.
  4. Fellow April filer here, my NOA1 date was April 8th and the estimated date for approval is 2 weeks past. Been waiting 8 months now and I'm starting to get real anxious that our case will be one of those unlucky ones that are forgotten about. I'm in the last 20% of my NOA1 date too 😕
  5. I consulted an immigration lawyer and they told me that proactively sending USCIS anything could hurt my case by overexplaining. The petitioner (my fiance) will get his court documents certified as they come but unfortunately he has nothing so far since he hasn't gone to court yet. I was assured that things will be fine since answering "No" that he has never been arrested WAS true at the time of sending in the application, it wouldn't be a problem. Just hoping that an RFE or anything wouldn't put too many road blocks.. Any thoughts?
  6. Hello all, My fiance, the US citizen petitioner, was arrested for a DUI literally the day after submitting our I-129F. He's incredibly remorseful and has quit drinking and is getting help through a therapist. Unfortunately, when we filed the petition, the answer was an honest "No" on Part 3 Item number 4.a "Have you ever been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined, or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law or ordinance in any country, excluding traffic violations (unless a traffic violation was alcohol- or drug- related or involved a fine of $500 or more)?" But now the answer would be a "Yes" NOW if I am understanding this correctly. We already have our NOA1 and this arrest happened after we had already submitted it. What is our next steps? Should we wait for an RFE? Any other advice? The problem is, the only document he has right now is the arrest record since the DUI charge is still pending and it hasn't gone to court yet.
