Dallas, TX rocks!!! Got NOA for interview yesterday.
Look at my timeline: I applied in February!
I don't even have my EAD yet. Interview will be exactly 3 months from the date we applied.
I heard someone else in Dallas also had it all done in 3 months.
I'm excited but anxious and nervous about the interview. We don't have many pictures to show.
Just wanted to share this if anyone here just applied in DALLAS, TX - get ready.
Good luck!

I got mine yesterday also!!! We don't have the EAD either!! We filed 2/9/2009 and our interview date is May 5, 2009. I have seen ones get their EAD 2 weeks before their interview so hopefully we get ours before the interview

I am trying to find the quickest and best way to get my fiance over here from nigeria. I have seen some people say get a roundtrip ticket because it is cheaper. I just want to know if anyone has done it recently and will it cause a problem in customs if it is roundtrip.
Thanks in advance for any response!

It was AMAZING!!!
We had so much fun. We did a traditional ceremony (my hometown) and then we had a reception (his hometown).
At the traditional ceremony there is this part before the bride comes out where sisters/cousins/etc will make the groom pay in order for the bride to come out for the ceremony. So, I was locked in my room with one of my bridesmaids and we were waiting. All of a sudden I hear shouting and yelling and different amounts of money being yelled out. Inusah's friends were negotiating on his behalf and it was hilarious to hear all of it.
I still have no idea what they paid
So, pictures:
This is at the traditional ceremony. We had it outside our house The women in the orange head-dresses are his sisters and cousins.
Me and my bridesmaids. The 2 standing on either side are my twin sisters. The others are my cousins:

Awwww you loook sooo beautiful! I just want to know where did you get the bridesmaid dresses? They are gorgeous
