Had our Infoview appointment today. They told us that both A Files are at record processing and after that they will be returned to the Interviewing officer. If there is no problems he will schedule the Oath ceremony. ETA 3 to 6 month.
Kud,
Got any good news? Please keep us updated.
All quiet on the eastern front
I went to the infopass again. The officer said that the Baltimore office got my file in July, and said the file could easily sit in there for TWO monthes not been touches, because their processing certer has been piled up with files and they have no plan to faster the processing. She suggested me not expecting anything within the next two monthes....
What do you think?

I had my Infopass today. It was disappointed. Not much valuable infomation was given. She said that it will take 3 - 4 month.

Thanks! But it seems hopeless. We can do nothing but wait!
Has anyone just gone through this? How long did it take? Thanks!
I wasn't even aware of these "A files" until you posted then read:
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0000ecd190aRCRD
Wow, both hard and digital copies, they must really have a stack of paperwork on us. With further wonder why we keep on having to send in the same information in over and over again if they already have it.
Sounds like someone at the USCIS couldn't find your original file and started a second one, is that your fault? Anything to do with your name or do they store strictly by alien number? They you were told they are going to compile your files? I guess only USCIS can answer that question, did you ask them, how long?
I have no idea why there are multiple A files been created. She said (the officer) it happened when I first entered the country with J2 visa. She also said I should use the other A number when I apply the Geen Card 5 years ago. But how in the world that I know there is such a A file and a A number have already generated for me...

I went to the interview in Baltimore office. It all went well, I got aapproval letter and sent to the afternoon's oath ceramony. But just before the ceromony, one officer came and call my name and told me that I cannot take the oath because they found two A files for me, they need to consolidate the two files.
Does anyone have the same situation? How much longer we have wait for the result? is anything we can do to help them faster the process, such as request another A files from the USCIS Record Center?
Please post your experience and suggestions, it is greatly appreciated!

YuAndDan,
Do I have to submitted the evidence of the bonefide marrige along with all other required documents again? should I include the phone call record for two years and photoes...?
Or just need to bring to the interview later on?
Thanks a million!

Correct, you attach a copy of I-130 NOA1 letter to the I-129F, and pay no fee.
Thank you YuAndDan! You are so helpful!

I am about to file I-129F for my husband. I check the USCIS website for the application fees, it states: There is no fee for petitions for K-3 status based on an immigrant petition filed by the same U.S. citizen. Does it mean I don't need to pay the application fee for I-129F. Note that I filed I-130 first.
